    Seems to be a bit of a format change over the 3 videos of this show on RUclips. this one has trilons instead of boxes, no buy out, and the option to keep or trade, also there seems to be a schedule change as he mentions the hemi pacer would be offered next week and the board has prizes revealed

    (SPOILER) As generous as they were on the "which ruler" question, the question made reference to *March* 1881 (when Alexander II of Russia was assassinated), not *September* 1881 (when President Garfield was assassinated).

    • @naughtythirtyfour
      @naughtythirtyfour 2 года назад

      You are absolutely correct, whilst allowing a variation of ruler, the United States/Garfield was the incorrect answer.

      @Conniptions886 Not exactly sure when she would of gotten the actual car, but its likely it could of been gifted a bit after the show. Incidentally i work for a company that stores vehicle releases and some of the VG's were released on the 1st of January 1970, quite possible it was used in promotions and offered as prizes before the actual public release.

    700 holes. 1 tonne of ANFO each. any good at math? apparently you are a physics genius. Also read up on ANFO.

  • @joshuaheatley5140
    @joshuaheatley5140 11 лет назад

    What people are forgetting is, This technically isn't a 700 tonne explosion. It's a series of about 700, 1 tonne explosions of ANFO. Not high explosive but powerful, and accurately designed to move 100 of thousands of tonnes of bedrock...

  • @ScrawnyD
    @ScrawnyD 11 лет назад

    Did you not read anything I just said? also, read Josh Heatley's comment, he is also correct. ANFO is not like TNT or fucking nuclear weapon! Do yourself a favour and google image seach "Orica MMU" - these trucks alone hold anywhere from 10t-16t of Bulk Explosive (depending on the product), the site i work at has four of these babies loading 17hrs a day - in one day we can load up to 700t of bulk...

  • @joshuaheatley5140
    @joshuaheatley5140 11 лет назад

    It's ANFO, Each hole takes a little less than 1 tonne to fill. Just about to do a 1600 hole shot at my work. Do the math. Breaking windows though? doubt it, the mine would be hammered by the councils, and government including the all feared DPI. also blasting at these depths the shock wave is dispersed mostly the the earth, my workshop is 20 kays from where they had the last blast... 1800 holes and it shook a shovel off the wall.

  • @ScrawnyD
    @ScrawnyD 12 лет назад

    You people need a quick lesson in Open Pit Mine Blasting: Explosive used: Ammonium Nitrate Fuel Oil (ANFO w/ Relative Density of 0.8), initiated with TNT Boosters (each 400g) Blast Hole Diamater: 270mm Hole Depth: Anywhere from 2m to 70m deep Lets use a 40m deep hole (which by the looks of the video is about the depth of the bench being blasted): Each hole would take 30m of ANFO = 1500kg. Looking at the video, 500m Long, 60m wide = approx 450holes = 675 tonnes...BAM!

  • @flamedrag18
    @flamedrag18 12 лет назад

    you're telling me this blast had .56 kilotons of energy? that's nuclear weapon range. you could not survive such a blast at that distance in that case, the camera would have been toast. you're telling me the earth would contain that much energy at such a shallow level? LOL

  • @Ustra13
    @Ustra13 12 лет назад

    i bet he ment 700 tonnes of stones which would be the ammounth of material they get from this explosion ... more realistic i think

  • @allster999

    Well, a mounted camera certainly doesn't have as much structural integrity as a house, and even if it did, that is certainly less than 750m.

    I have seen big explosions in coal mines ,this is no where near 700 tonnes. I have been in the pit @ a distance of 400 m and it shook the landcruiser ,you could see the blast wave coming at you .This my friend was not 700 tonnes . Nice vid all the same

    Look back to my comment some weeks ago: "Based on the time it takes for debris to fall the height of the lower cliff (<2 sec) and the size of the digger in the background (cab height <10m), I estimate the two lower cliffs to each be ~15m in height; the length of cliff blown up <100m and the distance of camera to nearest explosion <150m." So, what is your reasoned justification for calling me blind?

    So the author still claims 700 tons of explosives was used? Well, let's say that the explosive's mass is 2 times that of water, then they had to dig out 350 m3 of rock just to make space for the dynamite? That's just ridiculous.

  • @DamienOBrienJ
    @DamienOBrienJ 12 лет назад

    700 tonnes may be correct in the life of the mine to date ( from when video was uploaded ) but that explosion is far from a 700 tonne explosion. And as far as saying windows were blown 15klm away is so far from the truth like my ability to spell correctly. Sincerely some I.T guy.
