Why are horses running
It is the annual round-up of the ponies on Dartmoor. They are taken back to their farms to be health checked and the foals weaned.
😊 there's a good number of them! Are the ones at the back greys or minimal black coloureds? They do look like cave paintings
There were some duns near the back ... beautiful colouring ❤

No, they are sorted into their herds and moved to their farms swiftly, however, there is plenty of room for them to move around, they choose to huddle together, much like they do when they are out on the moor.
