If by some scenario qb goes 1 and 2 before the Browns, I'm turning in the card for Hunter. I cant trust Ward to stay healthy, Emerson is just okay, and Newsome is gone after next year anyways...if not both him and Emerson. So I'd take the guy with All-Pro potential, because edge and dl is deep in this class. Plus I think the FO really likes the rotation of Wright and Mcquire. Adding to the room can be done with day 2/3 pick or FA. Briggs hasnt looked too bad either. I'd add to that room but they dont need to go out of their way for a bluechip either.

I think when its all said and done the Browns will have the #1 pick. I think they trade up to select their qb, while still can get it naturally its a long shot. As far as qb, both are not the same type obviously. Sanders is ideal for KS scheme, while Ward is better for this Dorsey offense. I will say they need to pick one and commit and imo get a vet with similar style. They cant have different personnel and playbooks, its been a disaster all year seeing wide zone lineman try and run rpo concepts. I see pros and cons to both guys, but this idea that this class stinks...is just wrong. I can make an argument that we've never seen Sanders with a legit run game, where he can thrive off play action. His write up is almost identical to everything you saw about Stroud last year. Then I see Cam Ward and imo he plays like Big Ben. He's very strong and will take some chances. They said Mahomes and Allen played out of control too. Point is no qb prospect is perfect. And yet fans want to "wait til next year" in hopes of a Luck type talent. Lawrence was the last "generational" type and Jags still arent good. I will add that no team inside the top 10 is a former playoff except the Browns. If you're a rookie qb its a great situation to be in. You have a wr and a tight end. The defense can bail you out. My main case for qb is if I put Sanders or Ward on this roster its a .500 team fighting for a playoff spot no doubt in my mind. No other position is doing that for this team. They could have two Garretts and be a 5 win football team. I'd still add a vet to help the rookie but if their plan is to just run it with Kirk and hope his DTR impression is an anomaly then thats foolish. And they'll be looking for a qb the year after anyways, continuing the case of mediocrity. They can sell me on a vet and rookie for hope. They cant sell me on drifter qb to be competitive, and you cant do that to MG. The FO also doesnt have time to wait til the following draft to find a fqb. I know someone will say Browns should load up on D line. Guys Commanders had 4 first rounders on their line and never won. Traded 2 away, drafted a qb, and are now a playoff team. Amazing how the qb elevated both sides of the ball and took them to the playoffs. Bo Nix isnt a first rounder, okay and look at the Broncos now. They were openly mocked for that selection. Browns need O line! Yeah, Titans only drafted tackle back to back years in the top 10 and currently picking 2nd. Its a qb driven league. When will ppl wake up. I'd like to add I think both qb prospects are good and much better than narrative right now. Both work really hard. Ward a 0 star 5 year starter with NFL bloodlines, Sanders a 4 year starter that has been under a microscope his entire career because of his dad. I dont think the moment is too big for either guy. Also they both got better each year and have tons of experience as starters. Natural leaders, Sanders is a Cam Newton BDE type and will bring swagger to your locker room. Cam is a humble lead by example type. Both want to be great, so I dont think fam or money is going to change their work ethic. I wont be shocked if both end up as good starters in the NFL. And years from now ppl are saying wow did we totally miss on those guys. Very similar to 2017 class when ESPN said there was no round 1 worthy qb. Young and Stroud werent viewed as generational, and Texans hit on Stroud and Young is finally looking good. But if ppl want to wait for that generational class like 2021, then you'll probably be left upset. I remember all the Fields stuff and he's just not a good processor. Ward and Sanders are both very good processors pre-snap.

I stumbled upon this and now Browns are pick 3. The pick has to be a qb. Anything else is a waste. I get the idea of Carter or a tackle, etc but none of those guys are going to score tds and add wins. Bridge qb with mid rounder is how you stay mediocre. Wait til next year is how you stay mediocre. Remember in 2017 when there was no fqb in that class? Go look it up. Happens almost all the time. Stroud was viewed as a low end Bridgewater type.

Ravens and Harbaugh always play down to inferior competition (see Raiders game loss this year) and since this is going to be the Cleveland Browns Super Bowl game this year I think they’ll bring every thing they have to win this game.
