    Hahaha mine works great you really just need to get some learning it's not a drone you need to fly it and not expect it to fly it's self welcome to the hobby at least was a very quick crash hahaha

    I have the same problem ! But mine goes to the right and I can't straighten it in stabilization mode, which is why I crashed it a lot. Have you found the reason for this behavior?     Just an idle comment here. I wonder if Blade sold the 330s as a kit if users (pilots / hobbyists) would still have issues with their bigger helis like we sometimes see? Just wondering.

    You need to go into forward programing and switch on stability, and if it reads off then turn it on. If that does nothing re set alt.trim,roll 250 and pitch 0... then set the swashplate level. This improved my 330S a 100 % ....

    In the safe setup and stabilize you can see that in roll it says 450. I set it to zero and then the swash isnt leaning to the right when i activate it. But havent test it in air yet. 800 size heli so im waiting for some good advice

      Yep the white leading edge is on the same side. I've done that with my 230S. Flew down 15-20 batts before I noticed it, couldn't figure why the batt was only lasting 4 minutes instead of the normal 5 minutes...(I had a major rebuild after a crash, and thought is was the new ESC or motor causing the amp draw) when I spotted the oops, I flipped the one and voila ! I was back to getting 5 minutes flight time. The 230S FBL kept it steady for all those flights, flips, loops...etc. Duh me = Dummy haha. I'm guessing every heli person has done that, just once !! Glad to see the 6250 FBL works well.

    Dude, never take off from grass. Always take off from a hard surface, this was your fault, not the heli's.

    I can clearly see your right thumb roll to the right before impact. This was caused by the user and not the firmware. Come on man! 🤦‍♂️

      Fbl helis need flat surface to take off.becoz if it tilts little gyro starts correction.

      Looks to me that he is actually giving left aileron input which if anything should help cancel out the heli tanking right

    I'm only a beginner but it looks like the tail is not counteracting the force for the fuselage to spin in the opposite direction to the blades, that's controlled by the gyro so it should be increased.

    Holy Crap, that reminds me of my 230s Smart RTF! I did all the calibration and trim flights. Still I would crash, with take offs or landings. This was all on stability mode with the RTF controller. After 3 tail booms, I finally did the mechanical set up (Gods Country Archery on RUclips has a great video on mechanical set up), leveled it per calibration, trim flights. It finally would worked, but it had a drift to the rear. Everybody said it was tail heavy, so I used tire weights ( 2 only ) and it is almost perfect. Then I got dx6e! Set all my Blade helis up. I now fly without stability. My NCPX, the two S3's, my three Mcpxbl2's have been set per the manuals and mechanically perfect. Everyone of 'em has 0 pitch mid stick. What is the best outside with no breeze: The Mcpxbl2's! Indoors: the S3's. I just got the Fusion 180 over a week ago. Still testing, but all seems good.

    How did you get the the 330s on 9.5, I have 9.5 but the 330s isn’t on there

      There's a new version now (9.5s) you can update it for free, just hand in your activation key and they will give you a new one for the latest version.

    If it's doing that, you need to run calibration and do a trim flight after calibration.

    Harley we all expect to get to get these copters correct from HH but they dont come correct and believe me Im very disgusted with my 330s I just got mine and as I said after less than 15 secs mine went done in a bad crash. I have been in contact with my HH contact and I told him all of the videos including yours have had this issue and Im not paying a cent to fix it and if they cant get it back to me within a month all fixed and set right I will contact my credit card company and file a complaint bc im not waiting a year for it to be returned. Im angry my friend. I Think you hit the throttle cut at the end of the first flight thats why it dropped?

      Yeah it's absolutely ridiculous, the only good Blade helis are the fusions or the 230 line... the 330 is a complete joke ! Yeah I did hit throttle cut but that shouldn't have made it crash mate, alot of people land using throttle cut.

    I had the same issue and as I said in your 1st video, now Im sending mine back to HH and its going to be forever to get it back. I didnt even have it out for a min and it crashed from a very erratic behavior. Im so pissed off.

      Damn I hate to hear that, I just bought a 330S and mine runs fine. I will say that it does get a little tipsy and start wonder around on its sled about half way through the spool up. I just simply correct and counter it’s movements when it starts to wonder and then it settles back down and is stable. SAFE seems to have a hard time stabilizing this heli around the 50% throttle curve of the initial spool up, idk why. Just take it off in stunt 1 and it won’t do it.

      @@mangzrc sent mine back and I will wait and I got the 230s rtf kit to practice more but this what happen to me was a disaster. I can fly jets, all sorts of planes and more and just did nice inverted flight with my friend with my f16 and his mig like they did in the movie top gun and nobody is going to tell me how to fly. so this was pathetic on what happen.

    Hey Harley I wish I would of watched your videos and Ian's bc I took mine out yesterday to do a hover test and it was all over the place on the ground leaning fwd, sideways, backwards and I finally got it off the ground and it shot straight up and to the right and I had no control and it nosed dived into the ground and broke all the blades and linkage and other stuff. I called my contact at HH and told him what happen and he is a expert in copters and said it was prob a number of things, the swash plate, gyro ugh Now I have to send it back for repairs and to be looked over and thats going to take about a year before I get it back. Im so pissed and angry and they wont replace it until they do a complete look over. Its got me so upset. My 230s never had any issues like this copter. ugh. I have given you a sub and like and hope to hear back from you. I wish I knew all this before I took it out. You and Ian have done a great job on your vids. Thank you.

    Nicely done. At such low height as well !! I have done my first 360 loop on my 230s today. But I needed a lot of height as I mainly been practicing on my nano S3. I lost about 4 meters between starting and finishing. I am really enjoying my 230s Smart

    Aww no Harley!! See what worried me was a lot of the guys I spoke to, and myself had sent their 330's back to Horizon, now you would think that the first thing Horizon would do is update the firmware!! As like they said to you the old firmware has a bug!! But a lot of the Guys get their Helie's back and there still the same,as was mine, do you think your blade strike was caused by the grass or the dreaded leaning over on take off? I feel your frustration mate!! Was there much damage? Or did it just bend the linkages, hope it didn't strip any servos!! When I looked into my issues I read on a forum that somebody had written who worked for Horizon that you shouldn't take off in normal mode but in flight mode 1, which at the time I though was a cop out!! This Heli is aimed at Beginners and intermediate pilots who are going to want to fly in SAFE mode!! It might be an idea to get yourself a take off board like I use!! Mine is just a floor tile ( wooden ) covered in non slip rubber, does seem to help on take off 👍

      I'm not surprised everyone sent them back to be honest! It's just a complete pain, urmm nope it definitely wasn't the grass it just has a nasty lean on take off. It's happened twice now and both times I have bent or lost a Flybarless linkage, not the worst thing to break but still annoying! Yeah generally I take off on a tarmac section where that park is but I didn't want to incase it lent on me again, I figured the grass would be more part friendly haha! So you recon to try and have off in stunt 1 ?

      No not really mate!! When mine crashed it was because I took off in stunt one and switched to SAFE and it just drifted out of control and crashed, I was just saying how full of crap they are!! I think the best thing to do is put the Heli on a level surface and switch from flight mode 1 to normal and see what the swashplate is doing!! If it leaning forward and to one side then it still has the issue which will cause it to leen around on take off, I then used the attitude trim to get the swash plate to stay the same between both modes, disconnect your motor so you don't have to use hold as that could give you a false reading👍

Im so pissed and HH told me it can take up to a year to get back. Im so disgusted and now they have a broken copter and Im out $450 bucks until I get it back and when I get it back!! UGH!!!!!

      I've just been In contact with a Guy called Tom cogswell from horizon hobby and he's noticed my firmware for my flybarless controller isn't updated in forward programming, im just finding out how to update that and hopefully that fixes the issue completely! Also I've turned my envelope up to 80, i flew the 330 again 15 minutes ago after calibrating the swash plate and it was loads more stable the only issue was it was just drifting forwards and to the right like yours did! I'll get this sorted. It seems to be getting better and better with each thing I do, im hoping the flybarless update cracks it 👌🏽

      Okay ian, so it turns out that the firmware on my flybarless unit is actually an old version that has a bag bug that causes all these issues! He's 100% certain that's the problem and he works for horizon hobby flying the helis so I have really high hopes for it fixing it. I have to order a spektrum USB cable so I can update it! CANT WAIT 😁👌🏽👌🏽

    Mm that's your usual 330s antics!! What was your attitude trim set at? Which way was the wind hitting the Heli? Because if you were pushing against the wind it would feel like you had no movement!! At first your cyclic movement looked normal, have you done a Gyro re calibration? It explains this in the manual and it's worth doing but you need a small spirit level, it looked like to me you were fighting the drift half way through the flight!! A thing that is crucial is when you connect the battery make sure the Heli is level and don't move it till its finished set up!! In my video for attitude trim I switch between normal mode and flight mode 1 to see what the swash plate does!! Try this and adjust the attitude trim to get the swash plate level but make sure the Heli is on a level surface!!

      It's really Strange isn't it! At first it felt completely normal and responsive and then suddenly towards the end I had next to no movement towards the Left! The wind wasn't that bad to stop it from being able to push against it. I took my 230s out there afterwards and even that could push against it with ease. I'll have to have a look into the Gyro recalibration. I'm guessing thats in forward programming? Also why does my heli nose dive forwards on landing, none of my others do that! Real pain this helicopter lol, can't wait to sort it. But yes it's almost like the cyclic control is intermittent! Oh I forgot to add, that was with the attitude trims at factory levels as I done the factory reset

      Did you check the CG very often overlooked with Helie's and can affect the handling!! Yes Gyro calibration is in forward programming and it won't affect the other settings!! Sometimes even now when I fly mine after taking off and hovering if feels like I have no control in one direction!! What I do is just hover on the spot for a minute and it then disappears and flies normally, you didn't say what your attitude trim was it might be different to mine of 0 0 one guy I helped needed 0 and 150 to get his to hover correctly.

      @@IansRCExploits hiya mate, my attitude trims were standard as I done the factory reset on the Flybarless unit + 250 and -250 Whats CG? I haven't come across that before and wouldn't know where to find it! I just done a video of the 230s flying outside in the wind and I'll upload it now! You'll see the difference.
