I was luck to see original Thin Lizzy ,back in the day. I’m 59 now, and these guys together are spot on, great sound,vocalist is also excellent without trying to sound like Lynot, he brings his presence. Tour dates please ?? 👏👏👏👏

Brian Downey is one of my all time favorite drummers along with Ian Paice, Cozy Powell, Jeff Porcaro and Kenny Aronoff.

There have been many imitators down through the years - some good, some not so good, but these guys are the real deal. From a life long Lizzy fan since I was 12 and who was fortunate enough to have seen them live.

Brian I think what you are doing is awesome I love it KEEP IT GOING FELLA all the guys are superb.

This is great but...are they LOUD?? Only those that saw Lizzy play live will know!

Hello. Thanks a lot for this inside documentary. I`ve heard Lizzy first at the radio AFN 1976 here in germany...the song: "The boys are back in town". So I went at the age of 16 to my first Lizzy concert here in germany at the "Stadthalle Offenbach" - in 1979 - "Black Rose Tour" with gary moore instead Brian Robertson..but it was so a great experience....till today. I will never forget. And this new project with Brian Downey is so great...I saw them now in 2023 here in germany and they rocked the place. I hope they will rock for a long time. Regards from germany.

You need originals and a hit to fill large venues. A long time Lizzy fan going back to 1978 when I heard Live and Dangerous, I still find this band a bit of a downer. I could see them getting a band together and playing the songs, but to get a Phil looking bass player was a bit unsettling for me. Sorry. Not taking anything from Matt. Truly he loves the gig. I wonder what Scott thinks of this band.

Since my teens getting Bad Reputation for my 13th birthday Brian Downey been a drummer not just playing good but rather supertight and distinct also i love the way he play (idk how i mean, but he's always "early" collecting the others and Opium Trail (damn!) hes a monster and one of my few 'benchmarks', only song built with same hungry progressive bass and drumming is Falling off the edge of the world - Sabbath. (Damn!) they leave me all exhausted 😵‍💫

Love the wild untamed face of Ronan he has great rhythm and every time I hear him it transports me back to Ireland a 1000 years ago or even more for that matter.

this is superb just found it today. trying to reach out tor Brian . I am a professional Irish drummer now in the states over a decade all of my students know of Brian and Lizzy and many are obsessed with Brians playing. Thank you for this its great
