You can find both NOS and used spare parts from eBay. Have a great time with your restoration.

Beautiful of course! The problem with such an amazing restoration is… you will never be able to drive and enjoy it a lot. Just at perfect weather… and always very carefully… I love “drivers cars”, they are made to be driven. But again, it is really a stunning car! Perfect job 👍🤝congratulations
I totally agree with you. I'd rather keep her in a garage than to bring her to the road full of unavoidable accidents.

Fortunately yes. I got a NOS one from Germany. But not from Mercedes dealers.

Any idea how much just the motor costed?
Sorry, I have no idea. Here in Thailand, the engine M114 is very rare. Mostly, it comes with a car. Not separately sold.
@@sanum7469 ok I’m looking to rebuild one but I’m not sure I want to start on that big of a project
@@Stretches_R6 It took me more than two years to complete the whole project. Now I take her out some good times for cruising around my village.

Three years of restoration is so long but I love it. Until Now I still search for NOS parts, can not stop doing it really LOL.

@@sanum7469 thanks sanu for your reply I have same car & I want 2 restore I am based in U.K & cost of restoration is more than value of car how much the restoration cost is in Bangkok kind Regards Adnan
I do agree with you that the restoration costs more than the car value. I paid more than 30,000 GBP for just a paint work excluding the engine overhaul, NOS parts, etc. But the final result made me extremely satisfied!!!

Very well done ,I love the red interior perfect match with the grey paint job . I own a 1970 250ce grey blue metallic with ivory interior.
I also love this perfect colour combination. My interior colour code is burgundy red (3000) matching with the paint code 180G. Your combination between blue and ivory is great too!!!
