Ben Greenberg is an alternative folk singer-songwriter, originally from the North Bay Area. His lyric-driven writing comes from the heart and showcases his affinity for balancing simplicity and clarity with subtly progressive elements. Since moving to LA in late 2016, he has organized and performed two d.i.y tours of California and the West Coast, and self-produced his first EP of original music, due to be released Fall 2019. He was featured on the 2019 Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival main stage in Tres Pinos, CA, and is currently recording his first full-length original album.

I grew up in the middle of nowhere (rip mayfield KY, which was the closest town to me)... I went to college in Nashville and now still live in a city. The lyrics struck me because I too have felt this feeling of wanting to be back where one's light is the stars and one's company is the crickets, the subtle wind through the trees, and the occasional crack of a deer breaking a branch on the ground. The being of "nowhere" is certainly NOT the "no-here" of the rat-racing city dominated by human artifice. The only thing that comes close for me is the reflections of lights on the puddles of a rainy night's walk.
