Indiana Jones and the Army of the Dead is an achievement. Yes, that’s right, this lego stop motion is deserving of pretentious hollywood media discourse and more 🎉🎉🎉🎉 What a pleasure to watch
@jacktaylor7643 hmmm, well since the Scientist was wearing a HYDRA outfit, even though it was most likely not relevant, maybe run with the idea that Indy and Cpt. America share this Lego Universe. Maybe Indy helps Cap find the Tesseract/Cosmic Cube?
This was really good. Adventure movies (like Indiana Jones) are a lot tougher to make than all of the "shooters" simply because they require a better script. You did a damn fine job with what you had, and combining Indiana with Rick O'Connell was genius. Well done!! Do it again!
Thank you so much buddy that truly means a lot. I was looking to capture the feel of the original Indy trilogy with just a simple, good old fashioned adventure story so I’m glad it paid off 😆👍
Bro that car chase was f*cking awesome 👏 so was the whole movie.. you captured the feel of Indiana jones so damn well… truly incredible work, you’ve got a future in filmmaking for sure 🤯

Ah thank you so much buddy, I really appreciate that, and yeah I should hopefully have something out in 2024, just trying to come up with some ideas 😁👊
you know, i gotta say, you sound a big like harrison ford if you tried playing around with the tone of your voice more. some of the line delivery/tone sounds almost like his typical conversation demeanor .
Haha, it was actually my friend who voiced Indy here, I’ll make sure to pass the message along and hopefully next time it can be perfect 😅 thanks for watching bud 👍
There’s an actual book called Indiana Jones and the Army of the Dead, where Indy and Mac from Crystal Skull go up against voodoo zombies, Nazi soldiers, and Japanese soldiers.
Nice video. There are places where the editing could be a little tighter. A lot of shots are left hanging around. And maybe think of adding more shots into a scene, rather than letting it play out in just a wide shot. But considering the limited space you had, I really liked your use of different scales. And the animation you did for the scenes involving vehicles, with the scenery moving past and the guy being run over, was very well made. Keep it going.
Thanks so much 😁 really appreciate the constructive criticism too, completely agree with everything you said and I will definitely look to fix those issues in the next animation I do 👍
For lighting I just used 2 standard desk lamps, I did use stop motion studio as I find it to be the best app for stop motion and as for settings, all I used was 16fps and I increased the quality to 4k. That’s about all I really altered. I also did a bit of colour grading after just to make it look a little bit like the Indiana jones movies. All I used for that was iMovie 🙂
