Rathbone was a good actor if you watch those old Holmes movies you will see him portray other characters in those movies and he is very good at doing so.

Gabby, Roy and The Duke were characters the earlier boomers grew up with. Even though they were just actors in movies and weekly shows they did teach the differences between right and wrong which were lessons that some of us took to heart. Those three in particular lived a fairly normal straight life so they could remain hero’s we could look up to. Considered corny today, we sure could use people like this today.

Ward Bond was a important part of Duke-land, the John Wayne movie kingdom. And also he worked with several of the greatest stars of the movies, John Wayne, Clark Gable, Bing Crosby, Jeff Chandler, John Ireland, James Cagney, Gary Cooper, James Stewart, Joan Crawford ...

Alan Ladd was always a favorite of mine, never cared if he was tall or not, with his deep voice he was a hero, a star, and always in movies worth watching. I loved him and I was very sad when I heard he had died. I have always missed him and his kind of roles and movies. God bless him.
