Another way is also to leave the formula of extrapolate = ra / 4, with that you can make Any Z, for the tooth to be more uniform, configure the extrapolate as curvature, because tangent leaves the tooth with a little of the straight face.
Very good your explanation. I did it here, for Z> 40 just change the formula of the extrapolate leave it like this (rb-rd) * - 1.5 for Z> 40 and (rb-rd) * 1.5 for Z <40.
