Good video. I'm glad to see that you are willing to learn. I have some advice for you and critiques as well. Trigger control and anticipating the shot...as you become more proficient shooting, you will stop jerking the barrel of your weapon (the bang). Smooth pressing of the trigger and also, remember trigger discipline. Carry your weapon on body and not in a bag. It is safer and faster to draw from on body as opposed to drawing from a bag that someone may be trying to take from you. Carry with a round in the chamber, always, especially since your weapon has a manual safety. I understand your hesitancy in carrying a locked and loaded weapon. You will get over that. Purchase some snap caps (dummy rounds) so that you can practice at home (dry firing) and drawing your weapon. You should practice that on a regular basis (daily). Also, make sure that you remove the magazine with live ammo to a safe location by putting it in the pistol box, or in a drawer for example so that you don't accidently load the live magazine when you are training at home. You did well as per this session, and I'd recommend that you take classes from USCCA and become a member. You can look them up online. You will learn just what to say and not to say in the event that you NEED to use your weapon for self-defense. VERY IMPORTANT to keep your mouth shut after an incident. I'd be more than happy to give other advice if you choose to accept it. Keep safe

Don't believe everything you see in the same corrupt establishment media that told you Biden was cognitively sharp, and that Iraq had WMDs they really didn't have. Kamala Harris told people in her audience to go to Trump's rally when they said, "Jesus is lord." That's why she lost. Don't feed into that. People who don't vote aren't "children." Actually, people who do vote based upon media propaganda are a lot more dangerous. Voters have the responsibility of doing their own research instead of just following what they are told. Unfortunately, that's what the core of the Democrat party has become, especially when certain "Christians" vote for the same Democrats and RINOs who oppose school prayer, while promiting abortion and the alphabet soup community. But Lucifer still lost another battle on November 5th.

And remember that if Democrats (and some Republicans) had their way, you wouldn't be able to get a CCW license or even own that gun.

You should have learned most of this in whatever class you took to get licenced, but better late than never. The Taurus pistol you have is borderline cheap so consider getting something better like a Smith and Wesson, Glock or at least a Ruger. Make sure your holster isn't cheap either. Good video.

This is one of the most genuine videos I've seen in a long time. You have one of the best trainers for a new shooter. God bless this man. Everything he is telling you is correct. I started off with a Taurus and once you go along with your journey i think you will want to get one with a better trigger and a better grip but not saying a Taurus is bad cause they have the best feature in restrike ability where you might not know what is going on as a new shooter. Im a fan and a new subscriber. Oh and carry every legal place to carry. Things can go sideways anywhere.

If you are proficient,you should carry in all permissible locations. There is no designated place for violence. I do like the way you think though!

Good job Ms. Stacie. If you don't mind I would like to offer some tips. When inserting the magazine use a little more force to make sure that it is seated properly. Sometimes just pushing it in may not have it locked in all the way and the magazine could eject or fall out prematurely. If you get used to seating it with a little more force in a stressful situation you wont have to worry about it falling out. Same thing with racking the slide to chamber a round. Pull the slide back all the way and release it and let the forward momentum caused by the recoil spring chamber the round. If you ride the slide (guide it back forward) it may jam and not chamber the round properly. Last but not least please get used to only putting your finger on the trigger when you are absolutely 100% positive you are ready to shoot. Even between shots when you are practicing. If you want to assess where your last shot hit before shooting again just move your trigger finger up and out of the trigger area to the side of the frame. On your pistol you have an indentation above the trigger to help with finger placement when you are not ready to shoot. The practicality of this if you practice this safe shooting method it cuts down on the risk of accidental or negligent dicharges if you are surprised or startled. Keep up the good work and practice will sharpen your skills.
