Yay! I recently learned to play chippin in and when I went to play the game and was able to pick up a guitar and play the song it was damn near identical to how I played it. The only difference was what fingers they used on the frets! They did amazing, and it might be one of the best examples of guitars done right in gaming!
Well its a bit late respond but technically Johnny's engram wrote over V's consciousness in time so V was actually becoming Johnny Silverhand so yeah its very possible
So spoilers for phantom liberty Reed ending: So merc is no longer an option for V, but technically speaking muscle memory and all. V COULD 100% become a guitarist from Samuari if he managed to get them to reform. Imagine if in the sequel V is a fixed and the lead guitarist for Samuari. I BE HAPPY WITH THAT.
I always get giddy watching this scene, there’s something adorable about bunch of old timers just rocking out on stage and having fun with their digi-ghost band mate. I didn’t even realize Nancy actually walks around her keyboard 😂
i really wish kerry wouldve told nancy abt johnny and v because shes the only one who would actually believe it, and other than kerry and johnny shes the only other samurai member who actually plays a role in the story apart from being in samurai. wouldve loved to see interactions between them.

Gotta respect the guy's patience. I was running around on the stage like a maniac back to the future style when I played this scene :)
i legit got chills from this plus the "play sick solo" is AWESOME this mission is genuinely better than even some main missions
Song name anyone?
A like supreme by samurai
Thanks@@LaCokaNostra_
2:03 xD
Most impressive is CDPR's homework. The way V/Johnny are playing that guitar is spot on real chords for performing "A Like Supreme".

Press F to play sick solo... in more ways than one... :D
almost 3 years later still one of the best damn side quests in a game
Wake up samurai, play the sick solo. (Respect)
Denny’s a god damn beast
Drausin is the real beast, he perform the drum or the guitar, whenever you choose, he will perfom it really good
good sick solo
As a metal head I fucking love this missing it’s easily my favorite so worth it
Spoiler: Since over time V is having their personality merge with Johnny do you think even he leaves the body V gained his ability to play guitar?

When you buy one of the apartments (in Japantown i think) you can play the guitar that it's laying in there (as a V).
@@ryuuga3882 what songs does he play?
@@fauzeirades2774 same ones as the mission with Kerry. Two riffs from 3 songs each, Never Fade Away, Chippin' In, Archangel

The thing is I replayed this quest many times cuz it's so epic, and I decided just to capture the moment without getting too much rocking on haha
yeah I couldn’t help but rock out during that part of the game as well. Cmon though man. No devil horns to the crowd? Lol🤘
@@PaperStarship Yeah I just notice that after uploading 🤣
I only got the solo prompt when i played it
I was spending my time admiring Denny and her drumming skills.
Rock musician pov. Emotions over 9000
