Thanks man! Yes I do but lately most places have too high of water temps so I’ve been limited to just this cold water river for most the summer. I’ve caught my pb out of kinkaid lake last spring and there are a few other places I have in mind when water temps cool down. Where do you like to target musky? I’ve only just gotten into it the past year and half

@@NateFFishing To be honest rivers in Wisconsin are great that's where I do a lot of my fishing, but being from Chicago suburbs I'm pretty limited also, unless I travel a few hours. Fox chain o lakes, and a few other lakes that way within an hour of me are alright.

We’ve spent most of our time fishing around spring lake, there’s a few more boat launches in that area. When the fishing is hot, a spinnerbait is hard to beat. The entire lake is really shallow typically so be careful. Fishing around islands and wing dams on the main river can be good too. We usually throw crankbaits on those. I personally don’t have much experience using the Slx xt dc so I can’t give a true answer for that but I do really love my scorpion dc. I use it for many different baits and also use it to catch giant pike so it definitely is super high in quality and it should go through a ton of abuse

Thanks! This video was filmed on June 10 which was 633 ft3/s. Unfortunately the water levels have been crazy this year. I’ve been keeping track of the USGS flow rate all summer waiting for a good opportunity but haven’t had the chance with all this dang rain

We just used our two trucks to launch and load the kayaks. So therefore I have no experience using the available shuttle provided. I believe it’s called Fox Hollow River Tubing which may do that for you, not 100% sure

@@NateFFishing have never been anywhere besides the lakes in Macon county but the creeks look very promising from the video. I might recommend a certain creek if you are still fishing creeks
