I know this is a few years old, but damn you ballsy for revving in the garage. My z would set off multiple alarms on cold starts and I only have a catback 😅
Not noticeable until about 3200 -4000 rpm. It’s about 4/10 noise/vibration wise I do have a Z1 tranny mount could be the vibration source. Hope this helps 😀
Well, I purchased the shockwave exhaust in 2019 from CONCEPT Z PERFORMANCE I think the price was $2000. The long tube headers are also from MOTORDYNE. I purchased those in middle of 2020 from CZP for about $1700. I hope that helps. Best regards Chris
I removed the original nismo factory HKS exhaust. I replaced the entire exhaust system using Motordyne’s cat back exhaust setup known as the “shockwave” I also replaced the stock catalytic converters with Motordyne’s helmholtz resonators and from there I replaced the stock headers using Motordyne’s stainless steel long tube headers which I ceramic coated too. Have a great day!
Wow badass. You are definitely going to make nasty power. Would be cool to see your NA setup Dyno vs supercharged If you're going to be selling intakes, motordyne or anything I'm interested
No engine light. I’m installing 1050CC injectors and new fuel pump in the next week! I’m going E 85 fuel. I am also waiting for my supercharger kit I’m on a waiting list. No engine lights!
Surprisingly, runs extremely good right now...I agree I need/want tune. I will likely do tune after the injectors/filter and fuel pump on E 85 then I’ll retune when I go FI with air to air supercharger kit

im still debating on getting a tomei with resonated y pipe stock cats or motordyne exhaust with motordyne art pipes
Motordyne sounds much better imo

Your right! It’s super loud. My spot was on the east corner and there wasn’t to many vehicles around honestly. 😂
how is drone within cabin?

Is this Liz
No. I’m Chris.
How long did it take for everything to come in for you? I understand Motordyne is almost built to order.
I ordered from concept Z in AZ. The exhaust was in stock. I ordered DEC 2019 right before Covid. Best regards
It doesn’t sound raspy at all? Looking to get the same set up
Thank you. I’m happy with it. Go for it!
You gotta post more man! You got an ig?

Is this exhaust compatible with ppe LOng tube headers?
How much did u spend for the whole setup, assume labor not included
The Motordyne exhaust itself is about 2k alone
You actually loose a lot of top end power with that manifold check admin tuning or rzg they’ll tell you go stock ported wayyy better gains
I agree
I just realized the right muffler is crooked.
you thought it was gonna be 100% perfect sir?
actually for 2k+ yes it should lol
Nice 👌
Thanks!
what’s your ig, would like to follow your build..

Is this the regular exhaust? The 4.5 inch tip?

Oh okay thanks! But if the shockwave then 4.5 inch tips? Cause I know they make them in 5inch also.
4.5 inch I think 🤔 2.5 inch piping They also make a 3 inch
How much for everything bro
$4000
MOTORDYNE SHOCKWAVE CBE - $2,000 MOTORDYNE LTH w/HELMHOLTZ RESONATORS - $1,700 MOTORDYNE M370 INTAKE - $650
@@abunaiz34nismo68 you also have stillen gen 3 intakes right?
this probably sounds amazing at high rpms
I hope so! I’m still breaking it in. I’m almost at 1,000 miles maybe I can get a clip soon at above 5,000rpms 👍
