Did this for 4 hours straight finally got a demon but it never spawned and killed me I only knew after I got back on the bus and left

Thanks for the guide, I just did it finally. Took me about 2,5 hours because of my luck when it comes to doing simple things quickly. A thing i did was leaving the evidences at 3 and bring an EMF and Spirit Box along my flashlight. Then after using the Monkey Paw, I'd find the ghost room and look for EMF 5 or box response which would both rule out a Demon. Saved me around 10-30 seconds in many attempts.

So, if I smudge the bone location, I’m preventing the Yurei from roaming? Not its favorite room?

To point at 3:40, had no ghost event on meadows and the front door closed, and it was a oni.

Took me like 60 or so tries but i got it

I've wished for activity and it does not hunt will it count if I wish to see the ghost

What helps with the oni is the really fast blinks. If you notice it blinking with tiny gaps and no long pauses then its an oni.

I had no idea you couldn't get a deo until level 30. i thought the final anomaly was that you can't get 15X at level 20 but i suppose i higher level host could leave

Thanks for the video, great advice, got it within about 15 tries. There were 2 occasions in one hunt and another occasion in another hunt where I thought I was getting hunted, but they were just ghost events, then when I did get the Demon, I thought it was just a ghost event, but I ran towards it anyway and it killed me and I was shocked but pleasantly surprised haha.

But why start at 75 of sanity and 5 for pill and not just 80 of sanity?

no glaze but ur channel is by far the most informational and underrated by far. the amount of effort you put into visuals and stuff is genuinely so helpful as a player returning to the game from before the prestige overhaul 🙇‍♀️

thank you for tips. i got it with some adjustment to the settings. i have monkey paw and haunted mirror so i can pinpoint exactly where the ghost is at. turn off evidence and see if i do get a mimic, i can see if it will do its demon ability. turn up sanity restoration to 40 so after i use the mirror i pop some pills to maintain 100 sanity. i went straight to the ghost location and waited for about 10 seconds and bam, it used its ability and i got the achievement. it took me about 30 attempts, but the first 20 i use your original settings i got 2 demon abilities but it was barely over the minute mark

After doing this i got a demon first game but the guy just came a minute too late. Already looking promising thank you

watched it while playing my grind dificulty in sunny medows restricted got to the last room put down an emf instand emf 2 no interaction after that an interaction with a door got uv so i knew it was a phantom thx for the quick 2 k exp xD ( i liturely found this video at the beginning of the round aswell so the game knew)

Absolutely horrified to learn that I am apparently entirely incapable of noticing anything above approximately ankle-height in phasmophobia. Caught a few of the mechanics-based ones but Willow is my second-most-played map and today I learned there are pictures on the walls in the kitchen. I turn that light switch on every time I play!

Video is fire to this day. Makes me want to play Phasmo. Crazy notion for a horror game to be fun even after it isnt scary anymore.

Been using this exact setup now for over a week, dumped 10+ hours into just hunting for demons exactly as shown and no luck (I figured out this setup before I found the video, just looking to verify i'm not going insane). To those of you who have gotten it in 9 tries or whatever, I envy you deeply. This demon economy is awful. I've gotten three demons in total in that time, and not one has hunted, even at 80% and the ghost is not friendly (I've had thayes tank my sanity and kill me).

If there is a smudge timer active, will the onryo wait to blow out the 3rd flame or will it blow out the 3rd flame then immediately hunt as soon as the smudge timer ends?

What are the Numbers on the top left supposed to mean? Is it a “timer since last Hunt” or somethin?

After 9 attempts I got a demon that killed me exactly on 1 minute and it didn’t count, went in for the next match and got a demon again and got the achievement! Thank you !

Appreciate the video! Definitely gonna keep running these settings. Been trying for an hour but my RNG is not being friendly the demons are being a little shy. I'll get it yet though!

But is this only for yurei ability or also for the interaction with the door? Cause when its for the interaction too, you can use this for your advantage, as you know in which room the ghost has to be when he touches the door and the door is only linked to one room.

Followed the guide, got an early hunt. Super excited! It was a Thaye. My guess is that even though I took the pill my sanity flipped to under 80% just for a moment.

Hate to tell the new player but almost everything in the ghost book is totally BS. It also says that Wraiths have no feet cuz they float. Also says that whenever a Obake changes it leaves behind special evidence which is also untrue, this "ability " is the 6 finger mark which has a random RNG of popping up and an obake has a 75% chance to NOT leave any UV.

Regarding 'place of death', in addition to meaning the ghost (journal re: Yurei) and the bone's room (ouija board) it can also refer to the favourite room (journal re: Goryo). Not a very helpful term when used like that XD
