    None of the three was convicted of murder, only bank robbery and multiple attempted prison escape. Their “raft” broke up and pieces were recovered. Funny: look up their names. Wikipedia shows them still alive. Frank Morris turning 99 years old tomorrow, September 1, 1926. Happy Birthday Frank. 🎉

    The lack of any registration records for any Ourang Medan plus the lack of any mention of this incident in the Silver Star's log means this is most likely an urban legend. (At least the Silver Star was a real ship.)

    Yeah belief is foolish To believe in something without any actual physical proof but you can actually prove yourself. Is ignorance beyond ignorance It's just like religion fake as fake can be

    • @helmsdeep86
      @helmsdeep86 Месяц назад

      Did you know that what you just said is kinda stupid? If you have proof, it's not a belief anymore, it's knowledge. You just contradicted the definition of belief. 😂

    • @KenikoB
      @KenikoB Месяц назад

      @@helmsdeep86the definition of belief is 1. an acceptance that a statement is true or that something exists. 2. trust, faith, or confidence in someone or something Neither states that you can't have proof. For example, someone might believe in the value of hard work. Their proof might be that they work hard and succeed at life, and many others also do. It's still a belief.

    • @helmsdeep86
      @helmsdeep86 Месяц назад

      @KenikoB I like how you cut off the part where it says about proof in the first definition: "...especially one without proof." 😂 A belief is when you accept something without knowing if it is true or not. If you know, it's not a belief anymore, it's knowing.

    • @KenikoB
      @KenikoB Месяц назад

      @@helmsdeep86 I didn't cut off anything, that's what it says when you google "define belief". Specifically this is what it says in full: belief Overview Dictionary Definitions from Oxford noun noun: belief; plural noun: beliefs 1. an acceptance that a statement is true or that something exists. "his belief in the value of hard work" something one accepts as true or real; a firmly held opinion or conviction. "we're prepared to fight for our beliefs" a religious conviction. "Christian beliefs" 2. trust, faith, or confidence in someone or something. "I've still got belief in myself" Also, your own definition says "especially one without proof". Especially doesn't mean exclusively, it means mostly.

    • @helmsdeep86
      @helmsdeep86 Месяц назад

      @KenikoB The original post said that the belief is foolish, like religion. So, it is not about believing in yourself. He used belief in the sense of faith. So what he said is just wrong.
