I was big fan of Booker T and the MGs n 60s. Loved that Hammond organ sound. They defined instrumental music.....and this cover is 1st Class all the way!!! I stopped watching the Grammys decades ago...... it's now nothing but garbage dumpster noise.

Perfect Summation, Dee G. Could not have said it any better. Honestly, I would have expected better. I’m thinking I may have overestimated the talents of the Roots based on the hype and short sessions like Dave Chapelle’s Block Party. They sound like a College Jazz Ensemble.
