BetaFPV Air65.. time to fly! - Surreal FPV
The BetaFPV Air65 is fantastic... I wish the video quality was better, and I wish I could go further with it without signal break up, but this little thing is a blast to fly!
Just having some fun flying around at a rest area. Trying out some royalty free music from RUclips. Video is unedited!
My crash at the end there landed me in some pretty tall grass... I didn't even notice the tree branch until it was too late. Side effect of the video quality... It took me 45 minutes to find this thing! The beeper on this thing is so quiet, it's pretty much useless.

Finally got a real "drone controller" aka Radio Transmitter. This one is the BetaFPV LiteRadio 3 Pro. First impression... it works great. Much easier to be more accurate with the throttle especially. Still will take some getting used to the controls and practice in general. I also picked up a BetaFPV Air65 Freestyle drone, weighing in at only 17g (24-25g with the 1S 300 mAh battery. Super light...

I feel like the sound is pretty well balanced. Just doing a short practice run.

Okay, I was able to do a few laps this time.. Still kinda sloppy, but much better than the previous video. Got the webcam setup, too. No sound yet, though. I'm not sure how to get the webcam microphone to pick up in OBS. Might have to setup a different mic entirely, which is fine, but it would be convenient if the webcam mic worked. This track "Flop shot" on the green is the tutorial race track...

Currently still playing with the Nintendo Switch controller. Previous best lap time was around 24 seconds on this course with the DJI FPV drone (DLC), then I took a 2 week break, and I can't seem to get through it without crashing! Definitely needing more practice.. I decided my first FPV drone will be the DJI Avata 2. I just bought a DJI FPV Remote Controller 3, which is the newest controller ...
Nice video, I just started flying too. I find it helps to have the racing bots in the race too as they show you good lines to follow. It also helped me to try different drone models; they all handle corners and speed differently which helps in race capability. I also watched loads of videos on throttle management which helped my skill tremendously.
Gotta start somewhere bud! As a fellow noob, I have my camera angle set to 15 or less. Thanks for sharing
