yeah 8 years ago and i am changing out my battery on a 2016 concours its the same as yours , i cant even get my bike out steering lock when the battery died .i also did notice you started putting it back together wrong but it only go,s in one way so if you get it in and the covers go back on then you probably do it right and i dont think the cable extender's are worth it , if you start your bike every 2months the battery will be good for a few years , anyway I mean who doesn't want to start there 1400 kawi . p.s i am going with the lithium iron phosphate now a days.

If you turn the negative terminal 90 degrees anticlockwise, the cable runs directly through the opening in the battery cover, as shown in the workshop manual. The way you have installed it adds an unnecessary bend in the cable putting excess pressure on the cable and negative post. See 'ELECTRICAL SYSTEM 16-27' IN THE WORKSHOP MANUAL. Gen 2 version.

I thought you were going to show a complete Delkevic exhaust with the header?

Thank you for this, this is easier than I thought. I did this on my old ZX14 and it required taking all of the panels off that side to get to the battery.

The battery would have shipped from manufacturer to Battery Mart with the acid in container(s), in the acid box you first remove. Battery Mart would have installed the acid before shipping to you, and put the acid box back in as it doubles as packing material for the battery.

you have to wear protection in California because there’s a lot of unlicensed, uninsured drivers not to mention the infatuation with Tesla Auto Pilot so people develop bad driving habits and poor awareness, especially with the reliance on blind spot monitoring on side view mirrors which aren’t 100% perfect

the bike is very good and its battery is original just like mine but here in Brazil it's hard to find one that has a CCA of 240 but I'm almost buying one from motobatt that has a CCA 200.

A month after buying my new 14 replaced the screen, got a V Screen, huge differance, not perfect but well worth the change. FYI- IM 6 4", if your 5 10" there'd be no issue.

Have you had any problem with the side case getting distorted from the exhaust?

Nice video. After reading the comments I now fear about the quality of the speakers as I am only concerned about the navigational aspects and not music. Having said that I am again not sure about the sound quality and if I will be able to hear the navigations since I own a Harley Davidson which came with the screaming eagles exhaust which is quite loud. I will need to keep seeing the navigations on the google map as well (with vibrations on the handle) which negates the whole purpose of the bluetooth.

I was wondering if you have added the lights to your case? From what I read on Phils Farkels a bypass is required. I use a Maxia 4 case on multiple bikes and on each rack I have installed a Givi rack that I can added the light adapter, but I hate the Givi rack for this bike and would hate to drill a hole through my case for a bypass.
