Remember the initial concept of the team based colors back when F2P version of Ballistic was alive? I was able to bring it back into the Overkill version of Ballistic, in 2024. Textures, materials, shader, code, simply a ton of work. Made by me, but without Aurora it won't have been possible.

When i open overlay and go to game settings i dont have the text to speech chat, language change?
I'm pretty sure my video is still up to date. Both the tts and language change options r still in the game. If not - try to contact support, the problem is on ur side.

@@ZoyDs lies. It's not a necessity to use the game bar. U can just use the windows itself.

Это удалённая версия штурмовика. Не знаю, зачем они её удаляли, потому что это хотя бы какое-то разнообразие вносило в их озвучку... Но.. Имеем, что имеем.

To be able to play Ballistic without owning it on steam, you must have a steam account and clear game files ( mega.nz/file/K9lwjIKS#iZ7ccfl32bb9AbQtd852PySoUAnJHQbT65-lzyeQsLU ) and patch 1.5.7 ( mega.nz/folder/fk0ynAJZ#4RR740BVkRXfxuos5Km1ew - download BallisticOverkill 1.5.7.rar and read txt's for instructions ) after installing 1.5.7 use spacewar patch in Ballistic\Addon\Spacewar if u need help or have more questions - join the official Ballistic Overkill discord

just turn on the TTS and I guess u will have to set ur whole xbox language to the one that u want to use as a voice
does this only work for the Windows Version or Steam too? I cant get it working with Steam.
I'm playing on steam and yeah it should work on every platform, except playstation I guess. What exactly is not working? Have u tested it with ur friends just to make sure it isn't working?
Thanks a lot for the video! I can replace 3D models but when I try to replace 2d textures once I replace them on the game's files they get corrupted or something (they just show up as black), any idea how to fix this? Or what's the proper way to replace 2D textures?
no problems. The correct way of replacing the textures is: 1) open uabe 2) open the .assets file 3) find the texture asset (the one that u want to replace) 4) click on that asset 5) click on the "plugins" 6) click on "edit" 7) click "load" 8) just select ur modified texture and it's done, but obviously don't forget to save the .assets file and replace it in the main game's folder and some important things: if u want to replace the normal map or the metallic map - u need to change the "texture format" to dxt5 in both cases. In the case of replacing the normal maps - u also need to change the lightmap format to 0x03 and the color space should be "gamma", in the case of metallic maps - u can leave everything the same as albedo (base color maps), but change it to dxt5.
for more information u can read the unity engine docs, it's not that complicated as u may think, some time ago I didn't know the proper way of editing the specific maps (like normals) either.

*the pirated versions r not supported* there is a better version - mega.nz/folder/n8tiXTqC#9qHultchyH01phe0y3PLkg/folder/fh9lELyY from the same developer 1) download BallisticOverkill 1.5.7.rar from the link mentioned above 2) open the .rar 3) "Addon" folder > "Spacewar" folder 4) open the "Spacewar INFO".txt file, there u can find all instructions for installing it and no, u can't disable the shared weapons feature

Как запустить игру в китайской версии? Запустил как было в первом видео, малый онлайн ( а как установить вообще не понятно
Онлайн там не низкий, возможно ты ночью пытался играть (по их часовому поясу), ночью там вообще нулевой онлайн. Но днём минимум 1к должны быть, установка там в пару кликов проходит, как и в любой другой локализации этой игры. Не знаю что ещё сказать.
Объяснил бы ещё как регаться т.к. Код просто пропадает и толи багается то ли чё, невозможно его ввести когда все данные написал и он вечно перезапускается
Пропажа кода звучит как проблема самого стороннего сервиса, а не регистрации. Зарегаться там также легко, как и в любом другом сервисе - по этому не стал делать гайд

If you can't select the TTS from the Game Bar Options, it has been changed, you need to select the 3 lines next to the close button (in the Xbox Social list)

Thanks, this was useful for me. But i was here for adding additional tools. I have read the documentation of modAPI but i didn't understand a single thing. Can you make a tutorial about adding more tools, without changing the assets of the game, when you are free?
no problems, ty for leaving a comment. Sorry but I'm making tutorials only for some "niche" topics, for the questions that were not answered, or if it's hard to learn alone w/o any guides. If u want to change the gameplay aspects like cannibals' damage or hp, etc... then u can use the dnspy, it's very easy to use, the only thing u will need is basic english knowledge, plus there are tutorials for it. Wish u a good luck with modding.

It seems like Rare has broken this feature because now it triggers when other people type messages too making it super annoying and needed to be turned off. I don't hear it but even when others send a typed message they'll immediately follow it up with "wait why was my message in japanese?"
If there is a bug, u can let Rare know, but u can be sure that they will fix it in the next century. They are killing their game.

2:20 the original one was not uncompressed, so it's a bit slower. Anyway, even the improved one loaded in less than 6 seconds, so it's not an issue.
Do I have to activate something ingame too? What about text to speech or speech to text? Enable/Disable ..
The ingame tts setting only overrides the parameter in your OS if u experience some issues with activating it, iirc. But yes, I think better turn the "override text-to-speech" on. I don't remember how this thing is called exactly, but it's pretty easy to find

what do u mean the "normal" voice? This question has already been asked (and replied to) here. I'll just copy my reply..
here is my previous reply to that question: What do u mean original voice? If u have english language set by default in windows, then just google what their default voices are (names), or just delete every language except english. Or, if u are spanish (for example), then just delete every language except spanish. I don't understand your question but I'm here to help you. I think I fixed my notifications on yt so now I should be notified whenever someone posts a comment... The question itself doesn't really make sense though
Did it but I cannot hear the text in game and I followed every step. Is it because it did both options you showed at once? Are you not able to hear your own text to speech that you type?
yeah you are not able to hear your own messages. But other people do will hear your messages with the voice that u selected in windows, if u followed the steps shown in the video. U can test it with your friend or if u have a 2nd device to launch sot
