Pretty windy day really threw off my serves and ground strokes. Changed up enough in the 2nd set to find a little bit of rhythm. Phone unfortunately died before the end. Went to the wrong courts initially so once we got here, we didn't warmup at all. It definitely showed with how flat footed we were for these 2 sets.

Thanks! Yeah I'm still trying to figure out better depth/placement on my approach shots but ultimately I didn't want to try to grind it out all set. His forehand was too good and I struggle getting under his slices (especially on the slick surface). Thanks for the feedback!

Yah, it's frustrating, but I also need to learn how to overcome this. I think I need to start finding a middle ground where it's not a winner attempt, but also not a shot that they can attack. He had such good lobs that I started to get tentative going to net. At least we got them in the doubles final which clinched the overall victory for us
Wow! CLEARLY, you've done some serious work on your game! Yeah, you've learned some critical points on your serve, getting your chest up and swinging around your chest. Difficult to do. Most players never get there. Just a tip. The idea is to first, before anything, achieve a full arm swing by taking the arm and shoulder through its full range of motion. First priority is to get from the starting internal shoulder and arm rotation("The Trophy Pose") to full external rotation("The Racquet Drop") and back to internal rotation while wrapping around the body, similar to any throwing motion. A huge key is never allowing wrist extension("The Waiter's Tray Serve"). Make sense? Let me know what you think?
