Haha i own this car :D for the past 4 years. EGR was deleted but dpf was still full intact so we had to smash it out . Resonator or catalystic converter in the middle of the car was replaced with pipe straight pipe only. Some paperwork says it was remapped in birmingham and dpf deleted probably they just deleted error code but left dpf in .
Pre lci cars had dpf in the middle , u got cat after the turbo, on lci e60 dpf is located after the turbo, do some research mate

No its all straight throught exhaust by DIRENZA + downpipe, it has a small back box at the back

I only took out the dpf from the exhaust system, everything else is stock. Also I have delete swirl flaps and egr that makes engine a little bit louder u can head the turbo more

@@MateQ2k13 alot better driving , overtaking , couldnt really tell about the fuel consumption because I’m not a slow driver , but definitely didn’t get worse

Nice job mate quick qeustion is she pre lci with dpf in the middle of car and cat converter in the down pipe? If so did you just delete the dpf to get that sound or is it decat aswel?
Just dpf gutted mate , my car pre lci dpf in the Middle , i got swirl flap and egr delete aswell , the engine breathes a lot better

Rickey Johnson i got it remmaped yes , i did egr delete aswell , its pushing now 220-230bhp its faster than a 530d . but you don’t have to remap it , u can still drive with just the dpf delete
Mr J was that a stage 1 or 2 remap?
LiamD24 stage 1, stage 2 is bigger intercooler, bigger turbo, injectors

Galgro 3.0d has 218hp pre lci , after the remap i got around 500nm

Darren Palfreyman it has swirl flaps removed , egr removed , and dpf insides are gone but dpf is still in place just the inside of the filter is all hollow
Watch out, now even if the DPF is in place but there are markings to suggest it has been hollowed out/rewelded then that can still constitute an MOT failure! Sand that sucker smooth and slap some rust paint on it :')
Alex Turner i didn't even weld it, just took it off and smashed the insides out with a metal tube , looks like nothing has been done

MR J nice car. I had same. But 530d m57. But becasue damaged small electric water pump head gasked was blown:(. Poor car.

how long did it take you to complete the project and how much in $
it's nearly 2years because I was a student at that time and had limited funds and no garage during the winter , I would say about 2000-2500$ and all of the work as you saw was done by ourselves.
