Do I sale any of my old school bmx bikes?
These were the best bike's to use your foot as a brake. 😉
Yoo tengo una Bicicleta GT California Aniquelada Antigua Y negra y Antigua dé los Años 82 está bien bonita
Very nice ❤
Yoo tengo una Bicicleta GT California Aniquelada y negra y Antigua California está bien bonita y hermosa tengo que poner unas cosas rrotas y dañadas pero Yoo también la voy a mandar a regalar siiiiii ahora
I'm a Haro guy but I love GT's too. Clean bike man.
@@erocker78 thanks, Im a gt guy but I've been wanting to do a different bike, possibly a haro or a trickstar. Just want something I haven't built yet
@Certifiedtray310 as you probably know already finding all the stuff you need to build a proper Trick Star might be a bit more of a challenge. More money too. I would go for a Haro build just simply because of that reason alone. Lol. Good luck
@@erocker78yeah your right, trickstar prices are ridiculous lol. But I'm not a purist so as long I get the correct frame and fork I will just build it with nice era correct parts. Even a frame set goes for 1000$'s so the bike will still be valuable. But I will probably do a haro first because there more affordable
Yoo tengo una Bicicleta GT California Aniquelada y negra y bien bonita y hermosa es Antigua California está bien hermosa
I like the black cranks
@@BerserkerNick yeah luckily I have both so I can switch back and forth lol
Looks rad, the ripsaw sprocket is one of my favorites
Braaaaa that shit stuuuuuupid
Can you Find 96-97 Robinson?
Yeah I'm pretty sure I could. What's your budget?
💪
Awesome stuff man ! I'm enjoying the content.
@@mikeboss416 appreciate it thanks
@@Certifiedtray310 Where are you located ? I like your builds
@@mikeboss416 Southern California
Where do you list your bikes for sale ?
@@valentinrosillo9106 mostly on offerup and Facebook marketplace, but I'm thinking about listing it other places once I learn how to ship them easily
I’m on the same boat lol but thanks for responding
🔥🔥🔥🔥
The Monkey Bars Handle bars
Complete this bike, ill buy it from you
Yeah I'm working on it will post updates
@@Certifiedtray310 have a good day
Yyyyooo
So now you have a plastic lens that will get hazy over time where as the original bulbs are fresh everytime you change them
@@richardharris492 apparently you are not knowledgeable about these lol. They are glass not plastic! They are brighter unlike the dim yellow original lights. Easier to change when they blow out, who wants to change a whole lens on the road? They dont get hot like stock bulbs And yes original bulbs do get hazy also, that's the reason I change my original lights in the first place.
I want to buy it
Ok
Nice work 👏🏾
I just spent a little over 1000 dollars completely restoring my old 1994 dyno air from when i was a kid, all i had was the frame and fork, so i started from scratch.
@@darthbiden8675 those are cool bikes. I have two 94 dyno air's the chrome one I built from a frameset also. Yeah these builds get expensive quick.
I had this bike back in 87 88,If you want it aall original? The gooseneck is wrong and definitely the front pegs.It came with the flip down pegs thar mounted on the forks, and the gooseneck was all white bolts mounted in front almost square shape with GT in front.Im not criticizing you bro I'm 50 years old and still go back in my head and think of all the bikes I had and still look to see if I could find pics of them online.Thats the GT Pro Performer decals in a pinkish color that goes on there.Great video my friend
@@monkklages2169 you gotta be trolling lol, do your research! if you had a 87 then you would know everything is correct on my bike except the seat clamp. The stem is correct for 87 gt performer, maybe your thinking about a pro performer? The stem your referring to is the mallet stem which is not correct for this bike. The forkstanders do flip there gen 2 which is also correct for 87. Please go look at the 87 gt performer in the gt catalog then come back and comment because apparently your confused not disrespect
@Certifiedtray310 You right bro I thought it was the Pro Performer, that's the one I had same color and I didn't see the flip down pegs.Like I said I'm 50 bro.I had a few freestyle bikes, 88 Skyway Street Styler,87 Mongoose Decade,87 Boss Pro Freestyler, and many BMX bikes.I was just letting you know I appreciate your video it takes me back to my good old days seeing that so I had to look a couple of my bike sorry if I offended you not my intention
@@monkklages2169 no worries lol, I'm not offended I was just letting you know you probably had a pro performer which was higherend. They had different components but they do share alot of the same parts and people do put mallet stems on regular performers also. I always wanted a base performer because I already have a coin roll frame. You should look into getting another one there super collectible now
👍🏾😎
your right! in germany, here they are sold like in gold!
Still regret selling my 97 Dyno Compe back in the day. Even got that back from being stolen for a year!
@@crazycooterMN yeah if you got the bike back after a year of being stolen you should've kept it for sure lol
When I first saw your comment I felt proud of my 98 vertigo LOL
@@d.b.7591 if you have a actually 98 vertigo that was the last of the nicer frames. 98 performers and 99 vertigos had the bent top tube
@@Certifiedtray310 that’s great- I like the frame on my 98 vertigo did it realize it was last year for that thanks
Looking good!
@@meangene3179 thanks only need wheels and decals now
What brake pads are you going to go with? Also, which pedals are you going with? I’ve been searching for mint HTIs for my 87 Performer.
@@SourGuitars brake pads I ordered some white odyssey copies from porkchopbmx, and the pedals I bought a clean set of hti-863s there not perfect but still white and in good shape
@@Certifiedtray310 hey thanks for the reply. One more question if that’s ok. Who made the forks?
@@SourGuitars its was a guy I found on Instagram, the page was bmxconversions but someone got it shut down smh
For future videos, please turn your phone/camera sideways, so everything can be viewed completely (similar to a widescreen shot). Watching this video is like peeking through a key hole. I also watch ‘RUclips’ videos on my TV. I love your content, though. Keep them coming. 🤙🏽
@@E46Knight yeah I dont like that angle either I'm thinking about just getting a actually camera
@@Certifiedtray310 Cool. I hope you’re able to get a camera soon. Proper footage will do wonders for your channel. By the way, I subscribed to your channel. I look forward to seeing what you’ll share next! I love BMX bikes!!
Yo, that's clean! Im rebuilding my vfr and a couple others.
@@heartbreakcreamery2503 yeah those bike are fun to build because you dont have to worry about going original. There better to go custom because there not expensive bikes
I had 1 of those back in the day. STLUCIA. W.I. 😂😂
Those forks came out bad ass !! And yes people want up to $500 just for these forks nowadays.😂😂😂
@@mannylopez9844 man I been building bikes a while and those forks was probably one of the hardest bike parts I had to find. I use to run across them all the time for cheap a few years ago now there ridiculous smh. I almost just settled for a tange fork
@@Certifiedtray310 Yes everything out there for these old school GT have gone up in price big time.
Come up on that $50 seat !👍👌😎🙌
I've always had problems with them all slipping down the forks if you stand on them
@@hairlessharescrambler56 yeah I honestly only use them for looks, they will slip unless you remove some of the paint on the inside of the forkstanders and tighten them to the point were it almost crimps the forks. I rather use axle pegs if I was actually gonna do tricks
Just use a thin rubber spacer
Smh, ppl is crazy. Glad u didn’t take it further.
Shit, I wish it was '98. Good stuff tho.
@@raw_si_siht would be nice!
Any reason why 98 is good? Thx
@d.b.7591 Lol Take a look around this cesspool of a country. At least back then folks got along for the most part and the country wasn't as divided. Simpler times.
Ahh- was thinking bike year specific not politics- now I get it
@@d.b.7591 Not necessarily politics... just the atmosphere. Stay safe. Gonna get ugly out here real quick.
It’s a fair price, fucking Facebook marketplace…I tried that shit once. ONCE
What happened? Was thinking of creating an account just for marketplace.
@@403patriot3 man it's not even worth trying sale stuff on there unless your almost giving it away and even the they will lowball you
@@raw_si_siht 🤡
@@Certifiedtray310 you’re not lying. People won’t pay for a half decent deal across town, But will pay an arm and a leg for something that is across the country. EBay is full on piracy now (but still the best quick searches minus shipping and insane prices) And the whole hobby is fraught with fraudulent fucks everywhere. Picture thieves, fake insta bmx sales accounts…it’s damn lawless
Yo you did a phenomenal job on that bike and what you’re asking for is very fair 👍🏽
Thanks, and I do try to give fair prices but some people want nice things for little of nothing lol
I agree
Do you have Instagram?
That pre coin roll shit is Canadian mortgage level retarded in it’s asking prices. If you’re looking to get the paint off that frame, I wish I figured this out years ago to save me scoring from sandpaper and just a whole lot of elbow work that gives a man arthritis, ‘EZ strip’ low voc paint stripper. No fumes, You can wash it off without using gloves, Just paint this thick goo on your painted part, let it sit for a little while, wash it off in the sink with soap. Home Depot, Your alloy parts will thank me later You can do it right in your living room, and your wife won’t try to remove your testicles for doing it, she wouldn’t even know
Sweet ‘87 Performer man!! That was my first “Real” BMX bike in magenta with white everything! Brings back so many awesome memories! Great channel too just subscribed
Thanks appreciate it, and yeah I always wanted one in maui blue, now I'm actually building it
I had this back in the day and a shwinn predator. I really wish I could have kept them both.
I love the mid-late 90’s dyno and gt freestyle frames, always a personal favourite 🤙🏻
Yeah they are cool bikes!
Very nice 👍
I used flip these old school bmx bikes like 10 years ago. Had a bunch of gt and dyno's. I regret selling them now lol
Yeah and now the parts are ridiculous in price, I try to keep most of mines because the market keep changing
The black vertigo street… Holy fuck dude, don’t sell this
I love the 95-97 style frames, I personally prefer the bottom kink over the double kink or top kink frames. Not worth as much as the older ones but great looking
Yeah there nice, I feel like there going up in value because they dont make 95-96 or 97-98 frames anymore, but they do make new similar versions of the 94 and older S-bend style frames on the newer gt heritage pro performers
I just put on dyno d gusset bars on my 97 performer last night, bars are stamped 98 buy they went 96-98 so they’re still correct. I never see the d gusset bars… I actually had really similar 95 style bars on my 94 vertigo this brings back memories…beautiful work 🤙🏻
Thanks, and yeah there are so many ways to build a bike and swap parts out. Like you said with your handlebars some parts are the same just stamped different years, like bulldog brakes
I still got my vdc changa from 84 with the og monkey bars
Beautiful great job
Thanks
They think every bike is just something you get at a garage sale for $20. I'm developing inventions for bikes and it's a similar problem trying to find the right investors. Could I talk to you, random video man? Would you like me to make you rich?
Yeah just gotta keep trying until you come across the right people, it's always someone who will go off what think instead of learning about the things there spending or investing money in.
