@Certifiedtray310 as you probably know already finding all the stuff you need to build a proper Trick Star might be a bit more of a challenge. More money too. I would go for a Haro build just simply because of that reason alone. Lol. Good luck

@@erocker78yeah your right, trickstar prices are ridiculous lol. But I'm not a purist so as long I get the correct frame and fork I will just build it with nice era correct parts. Even a frame set goes for 1000$'s so the bike will still be valuable. But I will probably do a haro first because there more affordable

@@richardharris492 apparently you are not knowledgeable about these lol. They are glass not plastic! They are brighter unlike the dim yellow original lights. Easier to change when they blow out, who wants to change a whole lens on the road? They dont get hot like stock bulbs And yes original bulbs do get hazy also, that's the reason I change my original lights in the first place.

@@darthbiden8675 those are cool bikes. I have two 94 dyno air's the chrome one I built from a frameset also. Yeah these builds get expensive quick.

@@monkklages2169 you gotta be trolling lol, do your research! if you had a 87 then you would know everything is correct on my bike except the seat clamp. The stem is correct for 87 gt performer, maybe your thinking about a pro performer? The stem your referring to is the mallet stem which is not correct for this bike. The forkstanders do flip there gen 2 which is also correct for 87. Please go look at the 87 gt performer in the gt catalog then come back and comment because apparently your confused not disrespect

@Certifiedtray310 You right bro I thought it was the Pro Performer,that's the one I had same color and I didn't see the flip down pegs.Like I said I'm 50 bro.I had a few freestyle bikes, 88 Skyway Street Styler,87 Mongoose Decade,87 Boss Pro Freestyler,and many BMX bikes.I was just letting you know I appreciate your video it takes me back to my good old days seeing that so I had to look a couple of my bike sorry if I offended you not my intention

@@monkklages2169 no worries lol, I'm not offended I was just letting you know you probably had a pro performer which was higherend. They had different components but they do share alot of the same parts and people do put mallet stems on regular performers also. I always wanted a base performer because I already have a coin roll frame. You should look into getting another one there super collectible now

@@d.b.7591 if you have a actually 98 vertigo that was the last of the nicer frames. 98 performers and 99 vertigos had the bent top tube

@@SourGuitars brake pads I ordered some white odyssey copies from porkchopbmx, and the pedals I bought a clean set of hti-863s there not perfect but still white and in good shape

@@mannylopez9844 man I been building bikes a while and those forks was probably one of the hardest bike parts I had to find. I use to run across them all the time for cheap a few years ago now there ridiculous smh. I almost just settled for a tange fork

@@hairlessharescrambler56 yeah I honestly only use them for looks, they will slip unless you remove some of the paint on the inside of the forkstanders and tighten them to the point were it almost crimps the forks. I rather use axle pegs if I was actually gonna do tricks

@@Certifiedtray310 you’re not lying. People won’t pay for a half decent deal across town, But will pay an arm and a leg for something that is across the country. EBay is full on piracy now (but still the best quick searches minus shipping and insane prices) And the whole hobby is fraught with fraudulent fucks everywhere. Picture thieves, fake insta bmx sales accounts…it’s damn lawless

Yeah there nice, I feel like there going up in value because they dont make 95-96 or 97-98 frames anymore, but they do make new similar versions of the 94 and older S-bend style frames on the newer gt heritage pro performers

Thanks, and yeah there are so many ways to build a bike and swap parts out. Like you said with your handlebars some parts are the same just stamped different years, like bulldog brakes
