This vlog <3 so cozy, entertaining and oh, so relatable to me! This is birthday season for my family and it always ends up being super busy! I admire you a lot for taking the time to film and enjoy your hobbies and passions. I had the same feelings as you about Practical Magic - I gave up with the book quite early on, it wasn't my vibe. Not all books with magic elements are created equal and I only like the not so spooky, uplifting & cozy ones. Ps. I can't wait to try the cookie recipe! xo

I'll have to look for that pumpkin one.. I went to GW today and I wanted to get a frame but I didn't find one, I got a dress for $3.50 and it will need to be taken in. So I hope that Birthday party is lots of fun! And those flowers you picked are so wonderful, I luv the colors so much. XXOO

How I loved this video, Tayt! It was the perfect mix of all things cozy and inspiring! <3 I especially loved that you shared your Fall tbr and cupboard book collection - I love reading and collecting books and other people's bookshelves are always fun to see for me. Also - it's so refreshing to see that not everyone goes over the top with seasonal decorations. As much as I adore Fall and all things cute that stores offer during the season I often feel like it's too much and I prefer adding few natural touches (little pumpkins or leaves as decorations) or collecting few thrifted items to re-use over the years.

Your dress turned out darling...I am looking forward to reading two of the books you recommended..The one by Seales and the one by Sutton. Also might look into the album by the Gettys. Happy Autumn!, I luv the dress you made, that is a great pattern, I read Emma by Jane Austen but I luv to read vintage non-fiction books, some are even from old radio shows, and I REALLY luv that little tea pot tea dunker WOW where did you find that, I luv tea, I could talk about tea all day! I bought some dried flowers from Hobby Lobby and I got a marroon color, you would luv it. It's great to see you again.

I luv your personality, I wish you had more videos, I've been sewing a pillow and I thought I would try to put some piping around the edge and I am not very good at piping, I remember in school this girl had this dress her mom made her with the most perfectly done piping, well anyway I can't wait for your next video. OH and I went to this rummage sale and this cute young couple just bought a farm house and they said it's around where you live, so may be you'll be neighbors.

Couldn't agree more that Rifle Paper Co & Laura Ashley are a dream combo! Your blouse turned out so beautifully, and looks lovely with your vintage LA skirt - what a find! I know you've already sewn them now, but just in case it helps for the future I've made a number of Tilly & the Buttons Marnie dresses and they have a great video tutorial on the pintucks that go on that blouse. I still feel intimidated by pintucks but whenever I've used that video to help me along I realise how simple they really are!

Sew cute Taytum. I love the Rosa print too, I’ve made myself a shirred puff sleeve dress in that fabric and it’s one of my go to garments for spring. That Laura Ashley peplum is so lovely, I may have to add that pattern to my ever growing to-make list 😊

Hello. Just found your channel and you have the best enthusiasm for sewing and homemaking. Your flower gardens are sooo pretty, where I live our hydrangeas are just beginning to bloom. I have quite a few bushes too. Everything here is beginning to get too dry and the yards are getting brown. Hopefully, tonight it may rain and there is nothing better than a big t storm. I have a tip for you and hopefully you’ll like it and won’t consider it as hurtful at all. You seem to know how to press as you sew but after you stitch a seam, press it flat( both sides together flat as you just sewed it) to set the stitches in and then open and press each side flat aka the opened seam. Then, turn right side and press it flat. Then finish each side of the seamline with your serger. Serge your edges last, then move on to the next seam but press each seam flat then open it up. Nancy Zieman always said set your stitches,,, which really does help. Look her up, her videos, they are still on you tube even tho she passed several yearsago due to cancer. Far too early, she was an amazing seamstress. She had started out very humble in her basement then progressed to her own store and did many tv shows too on PBS,,, she was from and filmed in Wisconsin PBS studios. .
