The second is amazing but it's probably not going to be put into service. Just like the big dog robot that Boston Dynamics developed, these robots are gas powered. The engine exhaust noise has been reduced with this new model but it's still unacceptably loud. Find a video that includes the original audio and you will be surprised at just how loud it is. It sounds like a giant swarm of nitro powered bees.

We are AFRAID to ask Sophia, and other similar robots, the really important questions. AFRAID of the answers they will give. Instead we use them for doing chores, and keeping our kids and pets entertained. How typically human and worthless we are as a species. Present situations like world hunger, military conflicts, Faith-based activity (Religions), economic inequality (Homelessness), polluting our planet . . . and listen, and act, on their responses. They WOULD have an answer . . . but the truth is we don't really want to solve the important problems.
