Did you see those different flashes of Death, first when Camilla was trying to get to Issac through one of the night creature 1:39, and again at 2:40. I love the implication that Death has been manipulating Camilla from the start and all her ideas were her being influenced by Death to start a war that would lead to endless death and carnage, meanwhile he is also manipulating Saint Jermaine to revive Dracula to cause even more death. This entire time she said she was tired of being manipulated by old men, but Camilla was being manipulated by one the whole time.

I was hoping Erzsabet would be at least a quarter of the magnificence, terror, and tragedy the iconic Carmilla was. Alas.

My cat got her name from this fight scene. When i adopted her, I wasn't sure what to name her. But I'd just finished a rewatch of Castlevania and was playing with her, saw how she rushed about like a mad idiot when string was involved. Lightning fast, so, I called her Carmilla.

Fun fact: the two Night creatures that jump Carmilla and slice her up are the same ones that have been accompanying Isaac for most of his journey--they were even the ones who stood guard at the door when he spoke with the old blind man. This means that Isaac wasn't using just any Night Creatures to 3 v 1 Camilla, but specifically the ones that were the oldest and most experienced fighters. I feel like this makes the fight even more satisfying, as it shows how Isaac has total faith in his monsters because they've been alongside him for so long.

Amazing fight but it’s pretty bullshit that Isaac was able to block any of her attacks. She casually threw that table across the room one-handed. Any attempt to block should have snapped his wrist like a stale breadstick.

looking back, what's REALLY sad? if she had held out just a bit longer, the other two would have shown up. but she let her temper get the better of her and refused to retreat and fight SMART. in the end it was all about her..NOT the "sisters"

Late to the party, and I’m loving the show so far, but this fight made absolutely NO sense. I know that Issac won with the help of his night creatures, but that doesn’t explain how he’s able to keep up with a vampire like Carmilla. She lands no blows, and he lands all his? His speed should be nowhere near hers. His strength should be nowhere near hers. She had a sword, and he had a dagger too.. I mean, it just doesn’t make sense. How, when and where, did Issac get superhuman speed and strength? And why does hector, also a forge master, not have this ability? They could have atleast explained it.

The detail of carmillas character is so good shes so self centered that shed never let anyone else deliver the killing blow. And she died thinking she killed him in the process.
