If teens ever got into reaction video all these people doing reaction videos would be millionaires in no time. Do you think that is why they offer "reaction shorts" on Tiktok now?

Great reaction. Her mother put her on AGT in 2016 at age 12 and she won it. You may have read she was the 1st to sing her own songs on a Talent Show. She writes her own songs but not big enough to have a writing team like Taylor and Ariana. some of her followers believe she fought against her record label to keep her songs hers. She has a phenomenal voice and I believe she has tried every style (because she can) to get attention from the Taylor-Ariana crowd and I think she finally did it with this one. Tiktok has already started with this song, not on the scale you were mentioning yet. Her song Darkness Keeps Chasing Me is a song that will give you a better idea of who she is and possibly become, the QUEEN OF TEARS.

It took me a minute..but this is how I see the video.. This is what I think it symbolizes. The office may symbolize the “rat race.” A way of life in which people are caught up in a fiercely competitive struggle for wealth or power. Or it can symbolize “the business” (or the music business) side of life. When she’s on the chair, it looks like it’s spinning in different directions like a compass. And then finally it stops in one direction and starts pulling..and then it pulls her right off the chair and she’s going through walls standing..her arm/hand is behind her. Like her hand is searching for the hand it’s supposed to hold. But it gets to this wall that she can’t seem to get through. Does it symbolize metaphorical walls that Billie is putting up that is keeping her from getting to her love? Or maybe a wall someone else is putting up? Preventing Billie from getting to him/her? She gets pulled up the wall..and then dropped..but can’t seem to get through it. But to the right of that wall is a darkened hallway into a darkened room. And in some shots, it’s a darkened doorway. Does that symbolize the fear of falling in love? Finding that person? Fear of the unknown? She can just go around that wall and walk down that hallway or walk through that door..but she doesn’t. Also..the way she sings that second verse? While sitting and standing against that wall? Like she’s aching to get to the person on the other side of it? It’s like she’s desperate to get to this other person.

It's about a magnetic attraction to someone and she's not fighting it, just goes with the feeling.

Toxic love relationship kinda taking control of her.

PTX has been performing this song live in concerts for a number of years now, so it's not like they have to do anything special to do a "one-take" video - just do a concert performance, and it's "in the can"!

A couple of them were being born while she was just kicking back, talking to her fans live " i think she was on instagram" but they are here in youtube. her lyrics alone are works of art. I read 1000's of songs, including all of Princes releases. Prince & Graces stand out CONSISTANTLY. No one writes like him , no one writes like her. She's only 20, so she is much better than what we have seen. I never seen anything like it. there is one id like to know your opinions. here on on youtube here is the name of the video post "Grace VanderWaal - Live It Out - Improv Song on IG Live June 19 2021" She starts to sing one song, then she gets this look on her face, and she starts dishing out the workings of a new song.

I love these kind of videos. For every song out there, there are as many opinions as there are people. AND THAT'S A BEAUTIFUL THING, "TO ME". Keep in mind i am not talking about the sound, or really i am not talking about the music at all. The artist and their artistry is what i am talking about. Grace has an artistry of the rarest kind. I only know of one other with an artistry so rare, Prince. Now i am not saying they have things in common , NO WAY. Artists of their nature do their craft in a way that no one else does.

Grace came into the public consciousness more than 8 years ago when she was 12 years old and auditioned on America's Got Talent with a song she wrote when she was 11, "I Don't Know My Name". Her audition went viral with hundreds of millions of views across social media. She has since won her season of AGT singing exclusively songs she wrote herself. "Beautiful Thing", "Light The Sky", and "Clay". Since AGT she has officially released and unofficially posted on social media hundreds of songs both originals and covers. She has won numerous awards and starred in 2 movies "Stargirl" and "Hollywood Stargirl" as well as appearing in the movie "Megalopolis" by Francis Ford Coppola. In all 3 movies she wrote songs for the movies. She has headlined tours and opened for bigger stars on their tours such as Imagine Dragons and Florence and the Machine. Why she has not blown up is a mystery to me. Mismanagement by her label would be my guess.
