Kept it pretty simple with this video. My trusty sony g-master 24-70mm f/2.8 with Peter Mckinnons variable ND filter

I love how you mentioned event photography cause my first gig was a play in a small theater for some students I had to think so quickly and make decisions so fast but it worked at the end, and when an opportunity to shoot a second one showed up, I took it immediately, and I rly think that that first play and previous events that I did, rly made a difference for a quick photo but with good framing and composition and etc
