I like the way it all starts, first with bomb, then zombies' screams everywhere, and then hearing alive humans' screams does show the sign that you're, in, danger. All hope is lost, SURVIVE.

Sounds like it says ews more then aws to me. Plus it would make more sense being early warning system being in the context of the superweapon that the RCU was looking in sector-7 for being what caused the flash and zombies anyways.
