My husband is a drummer when I met him I hadn’t been to bars in a good while. After we married and started fostering our kids he gave up the band stuff. He decided he was tired of the drunks. He doesn’t drink. I am glad we are both past that. My company at work has a lunch for us at a brewery every year and we can have so many free beers I like some of my coworkers even worse on that day 🤣 it is so hard to find a friend that doesn’t gossip behind your back. I think my husband maybe the only one sadly. Thing is people tell me things all the time and I just keep it to myself so I don’t have to deal with the he said she said crap. And if I do say something about someone I would say it to their face. I have heard that when someone starts chitty chatting about someone in a gossipy way just ask them or tell them to talk it out with the one they have an issue with instead of getting a bunch of others involved. I’m going to diamond paint now lol. Happy Thanksgiving Naomi!

I only buy snack size paintings. I know my attention span is not good enough for large pieces. I like to know I can get a piece done in a day.

Oooooooooh, that kit is working up gorgeously!! I really appreciated your message this week about giving myself permission to prioritize my own health/well-being. There’s been some stuff lately in both my personal life as well as recreational spaces that have not been serving me beneficially and it’s hard to let go of the mindset that I should just “power through”, ya know? If you wanna pull a card for me, feel free! I can’t think of a specific question or intention, other than general guidance?

Oh my jeep wagoneers are pretty expensive vehicles. I have a jeep wrangler and I would be pretty hurt and mad to loose it like that. I get the holiday depression worrying about getting the right gift for everyone. Gift cards help me with that. Past years have been a struggle with family for the holidays so glad I decided enough was enough and now I just chill with my husband and kids.

Dealing with family is really hard sometimes. I gave up on trying to fit in with them sadly and I am good with it. I understand this event is your baby. I am very proud of you for getting this one together I know how much you love Margaret. Hopefully in the future you can cohost with someone I think it would be fun for you.

Hi Great wip and chat! I think sometimes the drama, bickering, side taking stems from immaturity. When you become an "older bird" you just sit back and watch the gong show unfold and shake your head at how things are unfolding before you. Who knew high-school would continue so long after graduation for some.
