Print ProWorxNXT Modicon Ladder and Tables to PDF From XP Mode
Viewer requested video on how to get setup for success trying to print ProWorxNXT projects.
I show how to format and print to XPS Document Writer
Then how to format and print the XPS file to PDF
One thing that was clipped out for time is when printing to PDF, the print progress bar will go to 100%, this is just the file spooling, it does not mean the PDF file is fully created. You have to wait until the file stops growing to open it, otherwise it will error out while opening it, so be patient, these are big PDF files!

Two Compact Logix PLCs are used in this example. I go back and forth with a produced / consumed pair in both directions, which made this video a little more confusing than I wanted it to be for someone unfamiliar with this concept in AB. Show how to change the default Dual/IP mode to Linear/DLR mode on a CompactLogix 5380 series. This allows both NICs to use one IP address, effectively making the PLC a two port switch. Or, if you need to use DLR, it allows for Device Level Ring configuration.

Friday night one of my machines was restarted, and when it booted back up, the HMI was corrupt. Normally a USB drive with firmware on it is what I need to recover these issues, but no luck. So Monday I learned how to recover the HMI another way. Hope this helps!

I go over a situation where Channel 0 RS232-DF1 is not allowing a connection by RSLinx. If a project is in the controller that has Channel 0 configured as a Modbus TCP or other type port, it will not allow programming through the port.
