I'll give it to you that it's on the middle-to-low tier of live action Star Wars Shows. Maybe in a tier list video of Star Wars media, I'll have Acolyte elsewhere, but I still place it above Obi-Wan Kenobi by a little bit. It's quite... mmm... perplexing that, to me, live action SW quality always seems to shift side to side, up and down. Whereas, SW animation, to me, is always straight to the top, peak.

Glad to know I'm not alone. :) B- is fair Could Acolyte have been better? Yes. Could it have been worse? HECK YEAH. Agreed, lightsaber duels in this show were sights to behold. The physical combat and Force-imbued acrobatics were something I never thought I needed to see in live-action!

Good point. Well, some names and titles are earned, not simply given. An impulsive or headstrong cub growing to be a noble king, while already/going to be done by Simba, is an interesting premise. In my opinion, Simba's depictions in Lion King 2 and, more so, the Lion Guard are such a character shift to where I wonder if I'm watching the same lion from the first film. This movie can present a better transition of maturity. "The great kings of the past look down on us from those stars," is a bit of an open statement. The great kings of the Pride Lands or just great kings in general? The Lion Guard established the idea that Mufasa and other great lions of the past could watch, follow, and support living lions anytime and anywhere.

Back in the day there was the Tales of the Bounty Hunters story collection: amazing short stories about the most ruthless the galaxy has. Ig-88 uses malware to upload himself and his consciousness into the death star. The emperor's in an elevator and IG shuts it down. He gets a kick out causing a new mechanical failure every time Palpatine reaches out and feebly uses the force to adjust the elevator safeties or mend a fuse, he just gets a little kik and shorts something else a few floors down. HE has no soul so the emperor can't feel him. It is camp but we'll written camp. Like that droids backstory it sounds like it got more respect than Luke:(

Han and Leah get married and have have two force sensitive twins jankin and janna and they have a little brother annakin. And it's like the cycle continues because they all know he will most likely end the universe and they love him anyways. In dark saber Luke turns to the Darkseid and give in to all his dark urges while tracking the ghost of Palpatine s spirit, he brutally murders 4 sith lords and force crushes an at st in the first scene. Darksabre is the best written post return of the jedi work of fiction in comic book form. The zhan trilogy is the story of grandadmiral thrawn, a minority hated by the white men who run his empire. There are no space wales. Myra jade is a beast. Michael A stackpole, Timothy Zhan, authors already made dune like epics and Disney and George both chose to flush them.down the drain. Episode 1 was star was that forgot to write a protagonist. Episode 2 was a B movie with a B movie title Episode three was the least memorable. Disney is really strangling everything I loved as a child to death. I believe wolverina was going to beat the tar out wolverine in Deadpool 3 until Hugh and Ryan told boB iger they would be happy to quit and walk away from marvel.forever. It hurts to see them destroy things for space wales and ezra Bridger. Star wars was always dope. But like the Beatles it was a team effort. 1-3 was a George only effort and 7-9 is audience subversion. Ryan I can't direct anything but knives out made a star wars movie without any space fight scenes dog fights, no lightsaber battles, no character development and green milk. Basically a bunch of rich narcissists destroyed the single most perfect cinema franchise of all time. Star wars was not just a movie it was Cinema. It was culture it was glue. It held us together. Watch reign of fire. The best part of that movie are the older guys trying to reenact star wars for the kids who never got to even see a TV. It's beautiful. That kind of beautiful where the world is destroyed to ash but we can laugh at chewy and Han and hope that things work out between Luke and his father. When the asteroids where potatoes, and the star destroyers where sneakers and the backgrounds were painted. 9 movies deep and the best lightsaber fights hands down are not about lightsaber fights... obi wan's death in a new hope was profound, Luke deciding to kill his father for his sister's safety was emotional. I haven't seen anything profound or emotional and developed out of any Disney or prequel films and I saw Episode 1 4 times in theaters just trying to figure out if it was good. It wasn't. But it was better than any star wars movie made after it. Instead of writing profound and emotionally developed character arcs. We have Han and we kill Han. We have Luke. We kill Luke. It's not emotional, it's not profound. The music at the end of empire strikes back is the spirit of hope that drives a franchise. The world waited decades on that hopeful note. Empire strikes back is a perfect movie. That was 40 years ago. To be honest the endor escape movies are better than Disney star wars There are legit 2 movies about a family stranded on endor in a falcon like craft. There is fantastic drama and family trying to survive, like evil witches and ewoks and monsters. It's meant for kids so much so Disney might have pitched in for those two movies as they are very much child focused. The worst piece of star wars you can ever see however is the Christmas musical specia from the 80s. I would rather watch Rise of Skywalker. It's hard to mess up star wars... or so we used to think. The last flash of hope u had was force awakens. When that movie ended I thought " hey its gonna be ok, we are gonna get it right this time" then they fired J j Abrams for like a mediocre nepotism baby. He ruined the second film so bad they fired him and the wreckage of the second movies plot destroyed the third one. Disney is now running out if money and you can see it in obiwans very shabby costuming. I believe Disney is hemorrhaging money to the point where only 1 marvel film.is schedule for the next 2 years dead pool 3. Star Wars is fundamentally broken and so poorly written it is only amusing until it starts to feel painful. No children reach out anymore, face riddled in concentration hoping to pull that lightsaber with their mind before the wampa gets them. No children do it because they don't want Empire Strikes Back. If you can find yourself a first edition new hope vhs to DVD transfer... the lightsabers were white! There is gore! Obi-Wan cuts a dudes arm off to save Luke. It's literally perfect. Thanks to Gary Kurtz, Lucas former wife, and everyone else who saved George from his original release which was three hours of dog poop. They turned it into the most beautiful modern opera without singing that ever happened. Nobody gave him any push back on the prequils so he accidentally destroyed them. Disney is the most destructive force to original purchased ip. It feels like the people writing it have literal disdain for simple logic, Character development, sacrifice, love, and the very concepts of good and evil. These are fairy tail concepts. More people commit suicide building the phones we are typing on, and the mommas mining cobalt until they die at 27. Star Wars shapes culture by showcasing what purpose concepts of good and evil are. In order for the acolyte to be great she has to be truly evil. No momma didn't love me and neither did Palpatine. They just mis cast and probably mis wrote. Tatiana whatever her name would be a perfect sith. Her work on orphan black was epic. She is a very convincing torturer, sociopath, she is so talented she played herself dating a male clone of herself. The acolyte will fail because neither you nor I nor anyone's children will get nightmares from it. Everyone when I was growing up got nightmares from Vader joking people to death on the boarding scene in a new hope. There hasn't been a scary sith since Darth maul. Because we didn't know about his mom and how she got shot while studying spiders in the jungle. There is no possibility for sympathy with Darth maul because he is fear and anger. Purple hair is only scary on a certain spice girl, jack Nicholson, and Heather ledger. If Disney spun acolyte to There horror movie division Miramax would go from crappy kids film to... the best horror movie since IT. I would... I would subscribe to Disney plus for that.

Ryan and Hugh refused to ruin the plot to prop up she hulk and Capt marvel. They also refused to do scenes on the view on set etc alcolyte will be dead pool 3 with no one telling Bob iger NO. The acolyte looks to be a bigger disappointment than Luke Skywalker chucking his lightsaber off a Clif and doing shots of green milk. The bad girls will have not be bad enough they will be relatable. We need some William defoe evil. We need the mother of dragons as a sith lord. Alcolyte is shaping up to more disappointing than the space whales. Alcolyte will be to star wars what the cruella DeVille backstory was to 101 dalmatians. It won't make any sense. People don't keep teams of rabbid dalmatians. The sith cannot be protagonist because Jedi are not antagonist. You can't show a young sith girl taking revenge on Jedi ... The Jedi don't do bad things... After episode 1 both senators and Jedi took a vow of celibacy. The alcolyte will be like pet seminary " Sometimes... Sometimes death is better."
