This show is going to be about Fishing & Boating off the waters of Long Island, we have a lot in store for 2017. STAY TUNED!
Excellent.
Nothing wrong with a stutter brother just keep rocking 😂😂
It's two different sanders. One's has a vacuum system
I have a single stage 60 gallon dewalt 155 psi compressor, and I had to go with the 2.2 cfm sander, as my compressor would constantly run with my old 7 cfm sander
Thanks ! For the tip showing the two different sanders I'd go for the 4.0 and from now on I'll pay more attention to the details on the box instead of just looking at the photo on the box it's kinda of deceiving because both boxes were in the same location Thanks ! again. Tony Floresca , Austin Texas
Excellent video I was on the fence about buying. You sealed the deal. Thanks .
Great review brother!
Of the timed event, what was the brand and model of the second sander that clocked in at the 2min?
Can you use this one for wood work?
What size compressor were you using in the video?
That was a very cool repair video! Thanks!
Thanks for letting us know I was about to go buy I like the 2.4 for cutting and waxing you keep up the good
Purchased one of these guns because of this video! I recently started filming the repairs I do, just wanted to say thank you for providing a great video with a great demonstration of it!
What did you use for the raiding compound
Hi can you tell me what brand of filler do you use Thanks
Thanks for watching. Well, it depends on what I’m doing but we use USC fillers as well as 3M fillers. It all depends on the repair . If it’s under the water line, then we use the 3M above and below . If it’s to fill light scratches or feathering something out, we use a 3M platinum filler. I hope this helps . If you have a certain repair you’re thinking about doing, let me know. Remember , we don’t use filler for a repair, we do the repairs with glass and use the filler to feather things out. The only thing we repair with filler is a chip or scratch as thick as the gel coat and that’s about as thick as I would apply it. thanks again
@@thewatersedgechronicles3508 Great i use U Pol filler's on the right track. Cheers
Great Job! In total agreement with your 1/0 gun! And patience to do it Right!! Thanks for the video
Just stumbled across your channel. Very cool stuff.
What compressor do you use with the Iwata LPH 50 gun? Would a Iwata low pressure (1-20 psi) airbrush compressor work? I’m looking for a mobile setup for small gelcoat repair jobs. Thanks
This video was very helpful ad informative. I build custom snare drums and am looking to step up my painting/finishing game!
Gracias Señor: un saludo desde Colombia
I’m notorious for picking up the wrong box than what’s posted on the ad. Great video!
It’s ok everyone deals with something
I stuttered for years. Singing helped me and my husband would build my self esteem.
That looks exactly like Husky, must be the same but rebranded.
What Duratec product? Reducer or Clear Hi-Gloss Gel Coat Additive?
Did you skip the primer step? Also why did you not cross hatch the gel coat application?
This is common. Sometimes the paper instructions inside say something different from the box cover
in what time should the lph-50 gel coat be cleaned ..? and how should it be cleaned?
You would want to clean out the gun right after spraying your repair! we use acetone to clean the guns. Thanks for watching
Nice video, what is pressure set on gun ?
I have the same guns, but my 2.0 will not give a spray pattern just a circle. Do to have any problems with yours
What is the name of your company and location?
Glassitpro we are in Long Island. thanks for watching
Thank you for this video! I restore and smooth cast iron pans (including new pans that have the rough factory coating) and my old tried and true electrical orbital has caused quiet a bit of muscle fatigue. Now I know which one to get!
I thought you needed a tacking period through coats?
hey man thx for the info cus i know my dumbass prolly ended up walking outa hf with that 2.24 and not even knowing they had a 4.0 now i gota go to garage and check ! but yeah man keep up tha good work
Hey man, great review! I bought one that is 4.5 cfm, a 3M 6".. I think I made the right choice, by buying a higher cfm. I make some massive live edge slab tables, and I don't want to have to use the lower powered electric anymore.
Great vid!
Good video! I’m glad you showed the gun, and you spraying something with it! Thumbs up for painting a boat!
Do yall ever get that stieger craft finished
Dude, what did you expect if your deck is soft...Stringers and transom rot...
Thanks for the video
I’m leaving you a comment.. 😉Thanks for posting such a great review!
great info.. thanks
Getting close to that magic number! Thanks for the review doing some rust repair and then paint my E30
Question, what are your mix ratios to get this so it sprays out a 1.0? Are you adding Duratec or similar, or just spraying thinned gelcoat? % hardener you prefer? Just starting to spray gelcoat and curious as to what others find works for them? Thx!
Hey David , Yes I add around 30-50% Duratec and maybe 2-3% styrene and it works pretty well . as you see in the video I make a few passes with the gun so I have enough gelcoat over my repair area. love this gun for repair work !
Bought one today for my detail shop.
Will a 6 gallon 175psi High Performance Hand Carry Jobsite Air Compressor operate an 6in Orbit Palm Sander? Just wanting to sand the bumper of ny daughters car and paint it.
I just baught a air compressor. I would want to restaure a old murray select from 1998 that i got for free
Great video, helps a lot. Thanks!
Would be using it on my son's first truck
Good video keep it up!
