[ETRS] Eastern's Shortline : the Saint-Lawrence & Atlantlic Railroad (Québec)

En 2002, l'empire ferroviaire Genesee & Wyoming mit en place le Chemin de fer Saint-Laurent & Atlantique. Ce dernier relie aujourd'hui Sainte-Rosalie (Québec) jusqu'à Portland, dans l'État du Maine. Les circulations se font sur l'ancien Grand Tronc, l'un des premiers chemins de fer du pays. Le 23 juillet 2024, je fis une chasse du train 394, qui relie Richmond, Québec à Lewiston, Maine. Ce train circule deux fois par semaine, le mardi et le jeudi, et roule en fin de journée. L'été est donc la seule bonne saison qui permet de documenter ce train.

Oh my goodness, the two Swedish locomotives from the old Hull Chelsea Wakefield Railway, they're still around, they should be sent back to Sweden. It's no good seeing them left alone in the shed gathering dust & rust.

This is amazing, I didn’t know this railroad existed! You say they run at least twice a week, are those set days or is it random?
@NorthCountryTrains yep, amazing indeed! No, it's 100% random. The only way to know when they run it's to contact the engineer Luc Charron. Also, G&W's Quebec-Gatineau Railway run to Joliette twice a week too, tuesday and thursday.

very nice, i railfanned today in st-lambert and dorval, didn't saw a single freight train, but i did saw amtrak 108 heritage

The MK1s (all three variants) are due to be gradually phased out beginning in 2026. I would hope they keep 001 and 002 for display at Science World, our first station. Maybe they could use the remainder as an artificial reef as NYC did with their old Redbirds.
