I've started with writing a simple disco pattern. Then I wrote a riff. Then I combine it together because I feel like it. You can find presets at the end of the video. Plugins: So I'm using Odin III now. This plugin wins over AMH easily (the only thing missing is tapping, but I think hammer-on would work just fine). I need more practice in orchestrations but overall i think i did good in this one. The main riff is pretty simple, i think there's already a song with it somewhere. I ask you guys what else you want to see in these playthroughs besides the project itself. What preset are the synth stabs around :38 seconds?
It is "Hit Vain" from '90 Revival Bank for the Arturia's Jup-8. It's a synth brass with a tiny vibrato, I'm sure there's something similar in Sawer.

Проект классный, но этот пластмассовый звук у эмпл гитар меня убивает..
Дело в основном в липовом double-track'е, из-за которого, к тому же, в общем миксе гитара съезжает в одно ухо. Это буквально задержка правого канала, а не параллельный синтез сигнала. Ну и ещё струны какие-то уже слишком тонкие.
@@daniel_remizoff попробуй шредейдж гидру, или гитару один, они звучат гораздо лучше, чем эмпл гитары

what did you use for the bass? sounds chunky and heavy
I use "Two Face" preset from "Death Metal Guitar" pack for EZmix 2, then I put IRDX Core (150% intense) and EQ to decrease 240hz, 800hz and 3khz.

writing solos is easier than creating realistic sounded chords... do you have any tips for the chords? mute/upstroke down stroke, etc.

Nice. My only question is, can you drop tune your guitar how you want or is it like mine where you can only drop 2 semitones? I have the PF and can only drop it into Drop D.
You can tune any string down to -2 semitones.

I listen to a lot of stuff but the GOAT for me are Periphery and Starset. Recently I discovered Dead By April discography and I really enjoyed their first and third albums.

Sounds fat! What bass do you used?
I use Ample Metal Ray5 but only the DI sound. Then I use VCA Compressor and Bass Invader + TransAMP from GuitarRig 6.

for guitar stuff i'd suggest you to use shreddage hydra, for drums - ezdrummer "metal!" pack with neutron 4 "large drum room" mixing preset
