I have now caught a few fish on them and only issue I had is I Brooke both top eyes getting them in and out of my car but I replaced those easy enough and they are holding up great. They have fought fish great and throw big baits easily. I changed out the one quantum reel for a BPS Offshore Extreme and it's one of the best bang for buck reels I have bought.

Nice review! I got 50 buck one and casted it out and it was nice. My only worry as that they may break quick due to the low price, but so far I’ve had no issues and this review really reassured me.

That reel. It is dipped in carbon design or is it real carbon? If it’s real, may I ask what the brand and model is?

I'm thinking about getting a few of these wakebaits...have u used it yet? If so, your thoughts? Agreed, they are making some nice baits now...their suspending jerkbait, the Staredown & The Swerve big glide baits are 2 favorites

You are gonna wish you bought more….appears that BPS is discontinuing this bait. I bought 20 bags a few years ago on the spring classic sale. I punch them in heavy mats here in Fla and pitch them around cover with a 3/16 pegged weight. It’s one of those odd looking baits that stayed under the radar but is highly effective. There good baits for the money

Hi fellows. The rreason for this is that when the line is produced, it is spooled while it is not fully hardened. that causes that the line will take the form of the spool, and thereford will get the coil shape. By warming it up in hot water and then spool it on the reel slowly so it cools down will remove this "factory memory" . I always do this when i spool on shooting lines on my fly reels.

The Cajun line is badass! It doesn't kink up. it stays nice and straight always and it's strong as an ox. It came on a zebco 33 authentic that I found and I absolutely love it. But now that I think about it I'm not so sure I've ever used a really high quality mono before LOL I think I'm going to try that. What would you guys say is the best mono

I have a few original AC plugs from Southern California back in the late 80s early 1990s. We used them in Castaic. Casitas, Silverwood and pyramid. Started using them for big bass. But then only for striped bass. Which got up to 60 pounds. A little more fun than largemouth bass. Yup the AC plug was king back then

I fished it on my bait caster and it workes the same as the name brand monofilament.

Still use it,and still catch em'.

Been using Cajun line for years. There's something satisfying about having 14-17 lb. line. Anything I hook I know I can horse it into the boat without worrying about it snapping. I order big spools of it off eBay for cheap.

How is the red line on the reel I’m trying to buy some line

I have been fishing for 25 years and I have tried every type if fishing line out there from monofilament to braided to fluorocarbon and personally I like fluorocarbon fishing line the best. It has both of the benefits of monofilament and braided fishing line without the drawbacks of either of them. And to the people that say fluorocarbon fishing line doesn't hold knots well I say stop buying cheap fluorocarbon line because I use King Kast Kovert fluorocarbon fishing line and I never had an issue tying a knot with it.

I prefer to soak it in steaming hot tap water for a while on the spool it comes on to keep my reel from degrading
