Thanks so much. Saved me some $$ not taking it in for service. I was unable to put in reverse with just accessory on so I turned on without putting my foot on the brake. Then it went into reverse. The reverse camera display came on and stayed on during the 5 minute wait. When I started the car - bam! Good as new. Again, thanks.

Seems to have worked. I did have to start the vehicle first to move the shift knob into reverse. Turned the vehicle off for 5 minutes, and it worked!

I'd have it all done with a brush, by the time it takes to keep dipping

I do something similar by using a handheld vacuum pump. We just tried this on my son's Mazda CX5. The only drawback was that the tubing was too large to fit snugly on the bleeder screw so had to resort back to the foot pumping method.

This works! 2020 Highlander. You rock! Not sure how the heck you found this. Been irritated by this on and off since we first got the vehicle (new). Toyota Service was no help. just bumped into again after having to replace the battery. All good!

It worked for me I have a 2020 Toyota Highlander but I had to start it first cuz she was screaming noises so then I put it in reverse then click the p button to park hold it then turned car off for 5 mins . Came back after 5 mins then put it in p then press the push start button without hitting brake , once to power off then restarted it and it’s back thank you so much it helped me a lot 🙏❤️

The shaking is a known issue with the 2015 honda CR-V. There is a service bulletin out about it. I bought mine and felt like my teeth were going to shatter when idle with AC on. Took it in and they installed rear dampeners, new engine mounts and adjusted the engine idle through the ECU. it barely helped but it did help. As to what others are saying about the longevity of these iridium plugs, I have 218,000 miles on my car and have yet to replace my plugs. I replace my full synthetic oil every 10k miles. My fuel efficiency is the same as the day I purchased. I recently had a slow start so I am replacing the plugs this weekend but definitely do not replace these every 30k.

2020 Highlander notes. Cannot move the shifter if truck is not started, so I started it, move shift to reverse, set the brake and turn it off for 5+ minutes, IT WORKED!!!

Spark plugs don’t need replacing every 30,000 miles. The only people that say that are people who work at a dealership because it gets people to spend unnecessary money. Spark plugs nowadays are made to last 100,000+ miles. Old cars used to have spark plugs that had to be replaced that often, but now they’re made differently, so they last a lot longer.

I have a 2009 CRV. Iridium plugs last 100K miles and they can go even longer. The plug you took out looked perfectly normal and was not "burned up". Secondly, you should have gone with OEM Denso or NGK plugs for this car. Those are the only plugs Honda uses. Period.

Easier with a brush for cutting in, just water down your paint so there’s no smudging, works a treat and you get a perfect line
