Hey, this is Red Dog! I'm a scratch builder and prop/model maker. I like making models from movies, tv shows, video games, real life and fantasy. My main prop building material is EVA foam. But I will use just about any found object if it look good on the prop. Weathering is my favorite part of the process. Let's do this!

Mine is made of eva foam and wire and an old broom. Michihiro Matsuoka's instagram link is in the video description. michihiro_matsuoka The EVA foam used for this project is mostly from SKS Prop...

Beautiful job! Thanks for sharing!
Cool! Great work. Takes me back to 1981 when I scratch built an AT-AT Walker because kits didn't exist. Lots of kit bashing, lathe work and I even make a vacuum former using a coffee can, a home vacuum and a hair dryer. Keep it up.
Looks awesome. This could have way more potential. If the video was cut in a diffrent way it could attract way more viewers. No matter how many people watch the video you are really skilled and it looks awesome.
Thanks, I agree. I'm not much on video editing, Just been doing it a year.
Man thats amazing work. Inwish they would make re release of all the greeble details exactly loke the knes they used on the original would be awsome but very complicated and hard and reason why i jse greebles from electronics and model ships and ww2 model cannons and unconventional models that isnt easily recognizable parts loke they did on the original falcon. And dollar tree foam board is the best stuff to model with build with and even build amazing highly detailed and awsome looking rc planes as well look up flite test
Mate that looks amazing!! 🎉🎉🎉
Beautiful work! Well done. I tip my hat to you.
You are too kind, Thanks!
Very cool! Also, Go Cats!
What a cool project! I love steampunk. Don't personally have much experience w/ EVA foam, but it looks like I'm going to have to get some :)
Beautiful project, lovely video.
Incredible!!
WoW! That is cool!
WoW waaaaaaaauw i loved it great work. thank you for the video
Minor typo in the title, hairspray is spelled wrong.
Thank you.
I love it! The most interesting Millennium Falcons are the artist ‘interpretations’ of that iconic ship. I got bored of seeing the same Perfect Grade Falcon. It’s cool to see ‘details’ reinterpreted because that’s exactly what ILM did when they built the smaller 32” Falcon. They reinterpreted the details of the 5’ Falcon to look ‘similar’.
Your exactly right. Glad you liked my interpretation.
Hi, I'm Interior Architect and Environment Designer. Live in Turkey. I want to make this model too. I wonder where you found and enlarged the pictures of the front view and the other 3 sides to start the model with? I searched a lot but couldn't find it. In fact, I'm looking for a model kit, but unfortunately I couldn't find it either. Very happy if you help. Best regards...
Here is a url where i got most of the measurements from. I also download lots of images from google and do screen measurements. Good Luckpublicdomainreview.org/collection/the-tomb-and-the-telephone-box-soane-s-mausoleum-1816/
Surely the phone would be the dial type in 26?
Good point...Time travel?
I said David Diez was Italian, he is actually Spanish, from Salamanca Spain.
Awesome work!
Your videos bring joy. Thank you. 😊
I am interested in know how much the Iron Giant cost.
I haven't really sold a bunch, but I would say $250.00.
I'm glad you're here to give us these important updates, like The Aluminum Falcon has lots of panels. I can't believe I missed that detail for 45 years.
Well...it does. You try placing and cutting and notching and painting each one by hand. lol

Well worth a like and sub! Checking out part 2 now :)
Damn good job. That's one hell of an effort for your first video, I'm very impressed. keep up the great work. New sub.
So enjoyed that. Glad I found your channel, an easy sub for me. Wish you hadn't skipped the part about wiring up the LED lights, that's always skipped by modelmakers and it's the one part of what you do that's a mystery to me (not electrically minded at all).
Freaking amazing job so far! :D
Awesome build.
A brilliant piece of work ... Thank you for posting..
l didn't think it would, but it looks great.
This is amazing! You got a sub buddy!
Amazing job! That's one of the largest scaled Millennium Falcons I've ever seen!
The sound affects used reminds of something you'd get from a bad fever dream! Nice Job On The Falcon BTW!
Love the ambient star wars noises in the back ground
My only critique is you didn't make me one!!
Coolest thing I've seen all week!!!
Helpful note, the silent build parts have a noisy bass sound playing, probably a fan or something but. I would edit to be fully silent or play music during the mute.
A truly Awesome build.
wow ,a real salute to Vincent , i bet he would liked that. Just found your tube, i realy like your fome creations, greatings from sweden.
"Is someone gonna answer that?" Thank you. Also, is there a Red Dog still around your studio? All my dogs are history like Old King of the Neil Young song.
Outstanding, Thank you. My mind wandered thinking of movies I've not watched in quite some time: All Is Lost and much older Twilight for the Gods, with Rock Hudson and Cyd Charise...yeah. That's how my mind works.
Thanks for this presentation. Very beautifully done. Van Gogh really laid down generous layer of pigments demonstrated in EVA foam here. Outstanding master study here.
"If two spark plugs are good, four must be better." Yeah...well and why not! Thank you for sharing this and articulation of your process. You've helped me deal with my perfectionism that spoils my artistic processes.
Ssweewooeee! Yaharrrr! Funny stuff man. Awesome build. Thanks I really needed this.
Im so envious, fantastic work....I want one
This was an amazing build. I hope your channel blows up. You deserve way more subscribers.
I’m Totally blown away by this build.. amazing details and “used” finish.. well done mate..
Wow, what an amazing build! ♥
Absolutely fantastic build, now this is proper kit bashing done more or less exactly like for the original, maybe a bit more better. Painstakingly brilliant workmanship.
Thank you very much for sharing
This… is… awesome! Excellent work = a pleasure to watch the process. Thanks for sharing these vids.
Thats amazing mate incredible work well done indeed 👏 😊
