      When we talk about a metal like iron (Fe), or copper (Cu), we're referring to a single element with metallic properties. These properties include good conductivity, malleability, ductility, etc. However, when we mention "composition of one or more metallic elements," we're usually referring to alloys. Alloys are materials made by combining one or more metallic elements (and sometimes non-metallic elements) to enhance their properties.

      Sir I am not talking about alloy. I know alloys are homogeneous mixture of 2 or more metals or at least one metal along with not metals. Technically elements can be considered as superset of metals.​ But you mentioned elements and metals as different thing which I don't think is correct that's why I raise question@@ProfDrVasimAShaikh

      All metals are elements, but not all elements are metals. For example: Au is a metal and an element. But, Oxygen is an element but not a metal.

    What if the point is exactly on the liquidus line? Is it a liquid? Would that also be the same if the point was exactly on the solidus line?

    Why ductility increases with grain size refinement it should decrease because no of grain boundaries will be more with fine grain and slip will be arrested means it is stopped by grain boundaries so ductility should have decreased bt it increases with grain size refinement why ?

      Fine-grained materials have more grain boundaries that can "arrest" dislocations, they also allow for better accommodation of plastic deformation. The increased number of grain boundaries in fine-grained materials does make dislocation motion harder (increasing strength), but it doesn't completely stop slip. Instead, it enables the material to deform more uniformly, reducing localized failure and enhancing ductility.
