Light and Lamp was created to help people understand "how to follow Jesus". I used to ask for a "how to" book when it comes to following Jesus and walking out this Christian lifestyle. Here is what I have learned over the years, learned personally, learned from others and am continuing to learn!

The widow at Nain is one of my favorites!! It never gets a lot of attention from the pulpit yet it really exemplifies Jesus’ humanity and his divinity intersect in greatness. He “touched” NO He GRIPPED THE BRIER. THE OPEN COFFIN. He was in agony for this woman!! I believe this shows this meeting was unexpected. This was not the purpose of Jesus going into Nain. It caught him off guard ( his humanity) So Beautiful!!!

1:55 When you asked that the first thing that came to my mind were the wineskins! The old ways of doing things aren't going to work with the new things God wants to do. It sure is great that they ended up not needing the nets to be fishers of men!

I was really expecting a hallmark style movie. This is not that. It’s very hokey in all the right places (children’s perspective) and exactly the right kind of funny. I should have expected nothing less from Dallas, but I was still surprised at how good it was
