No joke. If this video was Heroin, my cat would've overdosed a long time ago. He's like a crackhead. I can't even pick up my phone or tablet anymore, without him trying to push his way in front of me. He's so sure his little lizard buddy is just waiting for him to come out and play. It's very ADHD, but pretty damned cute, too.

He doesn't like busy videos where every thing is fast. He might watch your video while it looks like the critter is on the fence top. Can't do rerun tho. I don't know why he is drawn to this one. It may be the red in the tail. Not too many colors there. When the bird looks around in the center of the screen It looks real and he is ready to catch. He tries to follow the birds flight on the balcony and orient the bird on the balcony, but that doesn't work of course. When the bird spreads his wings, Robert is ready. He attacks the lap top screen When the bird stops to look around, Robert is keyed in there. He thinks the bird is trying to out smart him. On our balcony he does catch many birds. I don't know how. I think the birds under estimate him because he turns his back to them and watches them in the reflection of the arcadia doors. They can flight right above him in an effort to get out, but he does not look up. Remember he can't hear. We are done watching videos now, but tomorrow morning we will be back. 😂What I know is that he won't watch the channels that have too much activity with fishes and bubbles and everything moving. Your bird does kind of look natural. He played with the string videos only for a short while. He knew it was nothing real. He love to watch birds splashing. Loves it. There was one video where it was all natural, grass, bunny, breeze whatever, but when he saw an cartoon animated bunny he was simply fascinated. We watched that one for a long time. Then he realized it wasn't real. That was it. There were a couple of your videos that he had zero interest in, but this one is a fav. I'll share more information tomorrow if you would like. This is the best video. Robert the cat will not watch reruns from other videos, but this one is the one we always comes back to. Thank you for doing these videos. It gives such entertainment for Robert. i just read the information above. I didn't realize you were studying cats with these. Robert the cat has been with me for about 3 years. He wasn't treated right.He is deaf. From what i can surmise, he was in a cage for 1 year and 4 months, all of his life, when I bought him from the pet store, well known pet store. He was feline positive for leukemia, FIV positive and had the corona virus. He doesn't known to look up so I gather that he was in a flat cage. Apparently there was a window near his cage bc he will turn his back on the bird and look at the wall to follow the bird. He is fascinated by shadows and reflections. I bought a 4 ft mirror, laid it sideways and he sits in front of it to see what is happening behind him on the balcony. Recently he noticed he could watch these videos by the reflection. When he is finished watching for the day, he sits in front of the mirror rather than look at the lap top directly. He is cute tho. I'll finish this post in a new comment.

I had my cat under the blanket with me and put this on my phone, she went nuts and changed a bunch of settings with her little paws. 😂 I'm pretty sure she was trying to like 👍 and subscribe 🔔

This is my cats favorite. I like to place little crumpled balls of paper on the shelf below the TV so she feels like she's getting something. They get knocked to the floor and she follows, batting them around until she notices her prey on the TV hissing at her 🦎 and has to show the gecko who's boss again.
