Ive used a lot of Midas equipment and ive had hands on with the Pro2 or multiple Midas pro series mixers and i thought its about time to move out of the X32 realm and get into the 96K market especially if I'm gonna start doing more gigs here and there, and besides ive always wanted a Midas pro series console. Or really if im gonna be honest ive wanted to go Digico SD12 for the longest time, but hey this is a start at least

What version are you running for presonus and the RM, do you have a cs18ai?

Sorry for very late reply havent been on here in a while. No the USB interface only outputs a stereo mix of the whole console

This mixer dose not have an dedicated Talkback input, so you will have to use one of the channels as an Talkback channel

there is a button on the mixer on channel 15/16, wich says USB or Line-in. If you put it to USB and download the Yamaha Steinberg Driver for mac from this page, should be the top alternative: www.steinberg.net/en/support/downloads_hardware/yamaha_steinberg_usb_driver.html, it shold work.

@@StageKLS Will look forward to it. I was curious because I ordered MG20XU yesterday. Perhaps you can make a video about your experience so far with it and also explain the functions. Particularly, I have no idea about all the Aux knobs and jacks, and different groups.

Im sorry i never updated you. Preamps boost a weak signal coming into the mixer so that signal can be used by the mixer. So, it makes sense that each input channel would have its own preamp circuit. Having one single preamp circuit for every channel would be foolish considering that a faulty preamp would render every channel useless in that situation.

Ill edit this reply as well cuz it was written kinda weird. No you can not use this mixer as an DAW controller. This is a fully analog mixer and it only servers as an Mixer not an controller. Some digital consoles like TH x32 or M32 series dose allow u to do this. But as far as Daw use i would recomend u something like an Behringer X-Touch which has everything from transport control, 8 Motorized faders and much more. Ill just write ya a new reply cuz idk what i was doing when i wrote the old one. Yes i know i got a little carried away when i unboxed this one. . All the equipement i have unboxed since has been opened "normaly" and checked before box got thrown away or put in storage.
