Funny Story was in my top 10 for 2024 as well! It was so good. I haven't read A Little Life, but I think I want to. It sounds really good but quite emotional.
I'm SO happy you loved Funny Story too!! I definitely recommend A Little Life if you are in a good headspace and can handle the triggers - it's so so sad but such a beautiful book.

These are my favorite end of the year videos, I did one too on my channel! You're not the only person to Margo's Got Money Problems on their list. I don't remember who else put it in their video, but I definitely have to check it out now! The only book I've read from your list is funny story. Welcome to booktube! I'm also a newbie (started about a month ago) and it is so fun so far! I had a similar experience as a kid reading Harry Potter and having to stop (for me it was at book 5) because it got too dark / scary when I was younger haha
