This song means different to me than most. My daughter has a severe intellectual and physical disability. It's extremely rare with only a few cases. She will have a very not normal life and have a lot of struggles. The entire chorus rings so true to me. She's not quite something you can define, her chemistry, her color, or time of day is not something familiar. But to me this misalignment is perfect, and I'm very much caught up in her design and how it connects to mine. As it says, I see her in a different light than anyone else will.
