Why are there so many online posts that the only way to swich Outemu for Gateron switches is to file the Gateron pins down? Supposedly the Gateron switches are thicker, hence don't fit the redragon keyboards.

Before you started the modifications of the keyboard, was it already hot-swappable or what?

How much switches are soldered here.... I have the same keyboard well I never tried to remove all the switches but want to mod it but I am afraid I will accidentally remove soldered one. @benwalker

Im late to this party, but isnt the k552 hot swappable? Why are you resoldering...?

I recommend krytox 205 g0 for switches and stabilizers and krytox 105 for springs mainly because 105 is a bit too thin for the switch housings and stabilizers but for springs it is thin enough to coat evenly, trust me it makes a huge difference if you have the budget

i have a problem, my gateron clears wont fit in the kumara, how do i fix that

I bought gateron black switches and it doesn't fit to my redragon kumara? Any suggestions to fit this? I tried trimming the 2 extra legs but it doesn't fit :(

Wait can any switch work on an outemu board? I thought you had to trim the pins of gateron before they fit. Do cherry switches also work? Or any switch in general on this board.
