i used a $6 part dont worrk i fried my circuit board too just in a different way. you see i torned my controller on without thinking to install a switch to disconnect from the rail power. it back fed and blew my reciver into two parts. lesson learned install safety switches

Thank you do you know if this engine shed will fit large locomotives like bachmann dash 9s or the bachmann 460, Connie or C19. I would like to have one but I didn't think the openings were wife or tall enough for some of th F scale and large G,s some I'd appreciate your input. Thank you for the videos, all very useful.

Just for general information, markers were made so only the red lenses were shown to the rear when the train was on the main. The other lenses would have been green/ green/ green or yellow/yellow/yellow (depending on the railroad). When a train takes a siding, the markers are turned so the red lens is to the inside and shows the green or yellow lens to the rear indicating the train is off the main and in the clear. The other possibility would be to extinguish the markers or remove them. The best practice is to turn them as they are made to be turned while mounted on the car's side.

Hello Join, an interesting garden railway control Train Revolution. The advantage over my DCC control is that you don't need a power connection. The sounds are also very good, but since I have equipped all my many locomotives with decoders and ESU sound. It would only be worth it for one locomotive for fun and as a fan. Hey guy, I looked up your word for CUPOLO & there is NO SUCH word!! But there is a word called Cupola for a small structure on top of a roof!! Who ever told you that word you told us gets his/her-(teacher) A's and O's mixed up!! Thanks for showing us a running caboose at night, but I thought that Cupola's Don't have lights in them so that the Brake man can see the train at night for a burning wheel bearing or something wrong with a car!!!

Excellent video! Presented well so just about anyone can follow along. I've had plans to do the same to my aba set of FAs for a while now. I may now switch to using individual boards since i have a good number of them now to use.

I've been wanting to remove my smoke unit and replace it with an ultrasonic mister, but I've been intimidated. If you ever do a video showing how you got in there to remove that, that would be really helpful.

Question: Is that circuit board the stock board in the locomotive? If so, what does it do? I own two Bachmann Shays and neither has sound or anything fancy that would require a dedicated board like that, so I'm curious what the purpose of the board is.

I came from the Town of Clyde Hill & worked on The Puget Sound and Snoqualmie Valley Railroad Historical Society on the only last Northern Pacific 1881 Passenger Coach Car that wasn't burned! It actually saw action back in the late 1880's where I found old musket ball shot on the corners of that old car!! Now I am in Central Arizona on a 2 acre lot about to build my own "G" Gauge Railroad on the front half of my property!! I'm calling my new Railroad "Loco Hobo R.R." If you come down to Arizona on Hwy 89 in Wilhoit, South of Prescott, come see what I am doing!!!
