The first time the festival was held since 2019, I believe. It's an extremely beautiful area (with a great historical park and museum as well) and was a lot of fun to see.

89S to S Old Yellowstone Road down to Yankee Jim Canyon, and up Tom Miner Creek Road, until my GoPro battery died... Pronghorn, bighorn sheep, elk, and so many deer I didn't bother to go back and look for and slow down the video for them... except for the one that ran out in front of me on the highway.

Seems to be running decently now (contrary to what the range officer perceived) with the provided buffer spring and switching to one of my lightest bolt carriers, but I'm not really sure where to place the blame for the 2 malfunctions...

Yeah, it's the east side. I haven't been in Montana since summer 2018, but I would think the access is still the same.

Yes, no extra modification was required to make it work. Actually a lot more simple to get going sufficiently reliably than it was in my regular AR, where I did experiment with different weight BCGs, buffers, and buffer springs before I was satisfied

I was surprised the range coach didn't correct his stance.
His stance isn't necessarily wrong. Sometimes you have to get that high stock mount when you wear a plate carrier.

Was there random single shots when using the binary mode?
No, my experience was that the second (release) shot would only fail if there was a feeding or ejecting failure, which, as with a normal setup, would result in a dead trigger and require remedial action. If you're noticing what sounds like a single shot aside from that, it's probably just from not releasing the trigger immediately after the pull to allow that instant second shot.
smoking hot stuff but shawly this is going to get banned just like bump stock's binary and a bump stock gotta try that ps what are you're group sizes? would it be a machine gun if a device pulled the trigger multiple times lets say 5-10 round trigger pull in one stroke of the finger or if a digital electronic timer was used on a solenoid in the trigger guard activated by a button within an extended pistol grip no im from the uk its all theoretical. but im not scared to share my ideas if you ask and its legal in america i will tell you.

He was the range officer, apparently he thought my rifle must be malfunctioning (or that I had illegally modified it) to make it fire that rapidly.

Rossafur thank you for the reply. I found that soon after posting. On the upside: it's legality is still up in the air and Franklin arms already has plans to sell to gunshops here should it be proved legal.

Hi. Did you have to do any custom work to the BFS or the lower to get it to work? Or just a straight install?
Not to the trigger, but on the M&P 15-22, you will need to file down the selector switch stops on both sides of the receiver that block the switch from moving into the 3rd position. Fortunately, it's plastic, so it's pretty easy to do. I'm guessing they were put there for extra protection against over-travel, because S&W used all plastic parts for their selector switch (the ambi-selector provided with the BFS is metal, of couse).

maybe you could try dog sleading? durning the winter times to really get exercise because basicly if you do research on wolves they can go in lope run and run for hours im wondering if that will help since its wintery up north now in usa. hope this helps
When there isn't snow I skateboard with her (if you haven't seen the video I have of that), but skiing with her might be a bit disastrous as she likes to keep cutting back and forth and randomly stops abruptly to smell things or mark, ha (can't just jump off skis)

+CODRONE Thanks! Had a perfect evening to fly today, hiked out to a great spot, set everything up, and "No SD card mounted." Whoops... Then I landed in some long grass I had beaten down, but the prop wash made it stick up and it became a $1200 lawn mower. Just some grass stains on the props and body that some alcohol wipes should fix....
