Ignoring the value of your time, it pays for itself in only 3 months. Given it's $800 for a used one, then in a year you would be up by $800+($1300*3)= $4700. Dude, you could be making an excellent investment decision by buying a new battery. At least based on the above assumptions, you'd be outperforming any investment I know of. And that's if you only make $20 a day, & you mention making up to $60 more!

From what you're saying it sounds as if buying the new battery will pay for itself in just a couple of weeks, then once it pays for itself you can put that money aside and invest it in your future. You can live off what your making now so purchase the battery and bank that cash
