shit, I thought it was only the 14+ that exploded, I just installed the Wiseco basket/hub/pressure plate and had to transfer the spring ring gear. should i/can i get a new 09/10 cushion basket?
I can use the same clutch n fibers?

I just got on the phone with a Yamaha rep and they said that in late 21 yamaha fixed this issue.
They never fixed the issue and 95 % of dealers will say they never even heard of it being a issue. Why would Yamaha fix it when the have jacked the price up from 200$-400$ for the basket but all the other baskets are still cheap.
Is there some reading on why? I just bought a 19 and it fills silly replacing this part all ready.
Just a bad flaw that Yamaha did. More of a insurance policy in my opinion. The dealer will not warranty it
Is this a common upgrade on 15+ Raptors as well? Correct me if I’m wrong but I thought Raptors use the same basket at yfz’s.
Yo mate, i have a 2012 yfz 450r the white edition, i have to change the primary driver gear, the 8 bolt same of the video, then the other parts of the clutch are the 6 bolt and the cover, do i need something more or only the primary driver gear 8 bolts? cheers
Your 12 just has a different inner hub and pressure plate. Pretty much the same procedure
I don't see the Full Conversion kit on your Web page ? I see you have just the10 Basket kit for the YFZ 450 R

BNR Motorsport sells a full conversion kit. They have the stock 09 swap or a Hinson set up.

Hey man so I did the clutch basket change and now my clutch isn’t engaging, any thoughts on why?
Most likely you didn’t get the basket seated into the oil pump gear.
