I want to say you are not too old to start a new relationship. Take your time to grieve and know there are people out there should you wish for that.

I know what grieving is now as well. My husband of 30 years just passed last week. I have had same sex attraction all my life, but did the “right” thing and married twice to men. My second husband was a super great guy, but we’re older and he developed health issues. I’m 72 he was 84. I feel lost and feel I’m “too old” to start any kind of relationship now. Maybe that will change in a few months or a year who knows. I just know it’s difficult without your best friend. Taking time for myself and just letting myself be is my priority right now. 🇨🇦

I am 34 and ive been a lesbian my whole life. I always knew i liked women and have only ever been attracted to women. My last relationship where i thought I truly found my match inside and out, she completely shifted out of nowhere. It was the biggest heartbreak of my life. I love men as humans and the value they bring to the world and i wish that i felt the way i feel for women, for men. I sometimes feel guilty that i dont see men that way. I actually think id be a good partner to a man and could have a good life, a life i always wanted. I just dont think i can lie to myself and be in a relationship with a man. But as i get older, i dont know. Im just hoping for something to either change within me or i find my perfect match. It seems almost impossible and my life feels like its been wasted in many ways.

My first thought as a bisexual who only had relationships with men was... "Because most men are assholes? 😅😂" I think it's unatural to completely eject someone from your life when you've been so close to them. Why throw away the friendship just because the relationship isn't working out? It only makes sense if your ex did you dirty, or vice versa, which is my point.

This is so real - it happened with every relationship I had until I said “I’m not living with someone ever again.” I saw him a few times a week and almost always went home to sleep in my own bed and it was my favorite relationship. Lasted three years and no bed death - my other three relationships had bed death within a year. I was smothering it! Smothering the flame!

All I can say is that I ask myself one question. Do I want to kiss her? If yes, then I will subtly give her clues that I like her which she can ignore if she likes. Then I go no further. It's as simple as that for me really. I know I'm not saying anything new here but we are women. I know how to attract men. I can do it with just a look. All us women have that within us. Use it but be more subtle about it. I mean, with some men you have to hit them over the head with a bloody frying pan and then tell them you are interested in them! Only then do some men start to get the message! And a sore head!!!

I have observed similar in my life. It has been a 9 year cycle though. That does fit in with your 27 year cycle. Hope the sale all works out.

Looking for advice: I'm mid 20s and because of reasons in this video didnt know I was gay till last year. Imidiate family know but thats it. I have a close male friend who has always had a "thing" for me that I've always shut down, but he knows I've dated guys in the past so assumes I'm straight. Part of me wants to come out to him in hopes he will remove me as a possibility in his eyes, but I know his family is homophobic (so I cant truly tell if he is or not) and he knows a lot of people I know and I'm not ready for hoards of hetros knowing (i'm incredibly private). My experience as well…I am lesbian and why is it that the men always win? This is when I was young. Bisexual women love women, but most won’t go there, that is choosing to be with a woman over a man because they still want that MAN…don’t make me barf! They want the family dynamic when they know they could do it with a woman…This is the 21st century, not the 18th century!! I now will never date a bisexual woman because they pick the man…the easy way out!!
